To further elaborate that, the Japanese Apple store also says October 18, and it's only about 18:00 there, so that would mean at least 6 hours to go.

Although the iPad Air 2 is great being 6.1mm thin, touch ID, and improved camera. I still don't have any regrets upgrading my iPad 2 to iPad Air 1, I still enjoy typing a 10-digit passcode.

Yes they did, and yes it does.
Anti-reflective coating on my iMac works superbly.

I'm kinda surprised that the iPad mini never got the A8 processor bump. Whats with that. With the exception of touch ID, gold colour option, the mini hasn't changed. 😱

At least they kept the mute button.
Yea it's really crazy that they didn't bump up the mini3 to an A8. That fact alone will cost them a lot of sales. I would have gone for it but as it is now the mini2 is the better choice.

just hold on to my iPad mini (1st gen)… and keep using iOS 7

unless one gets iPad Air 2, whole iPhone and iPad models are so underspeced on memory
