Bud, don't you know. Apple is the king of naming stuff. If a process or component exists, Apple is going to name it and market the ever loving s*** out of it. As they should because it works. Deep Fusion is going to enter the lexicon just like all the other component and process names they've come up with. Guaranteed it will start to enter the "my device maker of choice is better than your device maker of choice" arguments in 3, 2,...

Oh, I do know and it’s amazingly brash and frankly, a bit trashy on their part. But, hey, new phones.

Like the electric Porsche Taycan Turbo S (which obviously has no turbo), iPhone 11 Pro has a name that is pure marketing.

Makes more sense than the previous lineup if you ask me. iPhone 11 being the default option for most.

The primary purpose of a product name is to make the product.

Porsche also makes cars with turbos that don't have "turbo" in the name.

And all your info going straight to Google HQ.

Yes it’s a silly comment but don’t troll the thread with adverts for other phones.

I had to leave so I could hurry up and wait here in the school pickup line. I missed some Pro stuff. Like did it get Apple Pencil support?
