All that they have done is to split the MBP into separate items for the computer and the power adaptor. You now have the option to purchase the computer with or without an adaptor depending on your needs.

so when they wheel out the touchscreen, will keyboard also become optional? because with rumours of 'physical keyboard functioning like an iPhone's software keyboard' floating about, it looks like MBP will just end up being two iPads stuck together.

Don't get the 8GB of RAM is plenty in 2025 folks started. They are fine checking emails in one email app and having two Chrome tabs open at once. 😂

I don’t have Chrome installed, and I’m not sure why I would want more than one email app.

But bring on the whining about how a product with “pro” in the name must fulfil the demands of every professional in the world ever.
