Article Link: Apple Announces New Apple Watch Sport Loop Bands Representing 22 Countries
Description says downloadable so I imagine there’ll be an app clip on the packaging like the pride bands with a link to the matching watch face...when are the watch faces available or do we just create them ourselves ?
Different shades of red, and different watch faces not enough? 😉...some countries are just similar colours but reversed :
GB
Russia
Those are terrible bands.
For comparison, look at how well Apple incorporates multiple colours in the new pride band below.
These new bands would be overpriced at $2.

Looks like they are just presets for the Stripes watch face. You can easily create them yourself already, no sw update needed. So that means software updates incoming today or tomorrow.
Why do you say that?! You may not agree with the country but it is a country none the less and has global trade amongst many Olympians and many gold medals in this thread you should show a little more decorum as every country is valid.Jamaica is a very random choice
no, look to the right.Russia is just... black/grey
yes, some countries have similar colors in their flags, is that apple's fault? ever noticed how the puerto rican flag is basically a reversed cuban flag?...some countries are just similar colours but reversed :
That is pretty preposterous. And of course the Series 3 (which Apple is STILL selling) can’t get the stripes face to match the band.
I've ordered the GB one and I will wear it during the Olympics.
The Father of the Nation of the Netherlands is William of Orange (William the Silent). Orange is actually a city in southern France, but anyway, since William of Orange the colour orange has been strongly associated with the Netherlands. But the Dutch team wears orange for some reason. Do you know why? I am too lazy too look it up.
Considering, by my count, 42 countries sent more athletes to the last Summer Games than Jamaica, I can sort of see @kerr's point. On the other hand, Jamaica has seemingly (I haven't looked into these numbers) had a larger impact on the Games than a fair amount of countries who sent more athletes. EDIT: They finished 16th in the medals count. Why do you say that?! You may not agree with the country but it is a country none the less and has global trade amongst many Olympians and many gold medals in this thread you should show a little more decorum as every country is valid.
My Dad had the same issue with the strap. He ended up with a Milanese loop.Too bad that sports loop just wont work well with my wrist and my skin. I was forced to buy woven nylon produced by third parties. I like the colour of Australian band. Looks fresh and energetic.
