It would be neat if these were offered as a free gift with student laptop purchases at the end the summer. Does anyone know the dollar value usually associated with their free headphone student giveaways?

I wonder could I use Comply earphone tips on these instead of the included tips? That would be perfect
Thing with complys is you have to keep remoulding them every time you take them out and put them back in. And plus all those germs from using gym equipment then go straight onto the foam and right in your ears. Ie one of the most vulnerable part of your body to sustain infections etc

Hmm $250 for gym ear buds. I'm kinda stupid for saying this, but it's sparking my interest. I am currently using Plantronics Backfit Pro for the last 8 years, and I think I am due for an upgrade. There is nothing wrong with mine though, and I had been looking at Jaybirds ... decisions decisions.

I do find it hilarious that Apple is marking Beats as their "premium" audio subsidiary.

Normally around 150ish I doubt these would be given away but you never know

The crazy thing is the Powerbeats still didn’t stay put for me in the gym. So hopefully these will

That's good to know. My Plantronics Backfit Pros stay on me no matter what angle or exercise I am doing. I'll keep that in mind as I think about these.

My AirPods work great for me in the gym, they never fall out and I can hear what’s going on around me.
I can’t get focused and hyped on my gym workout if I have external noise. Want to just listen to the music. Tho I do envy those who’s ears AirPods work with. Mine fall out v quickly.

Presently listening to my Kickstarter Dash and still going strong. Battery life is only slightly diminished. All functions continue to work. And I have no issues with connections between earbuds or source. Also continue to use them when out and about with no problems.
I returned those suckers instantly. Kept losing Bluetooth connection every couple of minutes. Was really annoying. Other than that they would have been great for me.

Tim will be eating his face plastered in Wall Street thanks to those prices. Leaned nothing from the Xr and Xs sales debacle (and won't whilst idiots keep queuing to put it all on credit).
Have you seen the going prices for this category of in ear true wireless ? Guess not ...

Yikes..... $250 is steep.

9 hours of listening isn’t specified if that’s with case recharge or 9 hours of listening “per charge” for each ear piece. AirPods 2.0 get about 4-5 hours and my AirPods 1.0 get (now) about 1.5-3.0 hours of listening per charge.

So, if Apple are advertising 9 full hours of use “per charge,” and they have improved sound performance over the AirPods, it might be worth a look relative to the $250 tag, but there are a lot of options other once u get over $250.

AirPods at $175 (est.) is a tough sell; these at $250 might be impossible. But what do I know about sales and purchasing lol.
If you have both in your ears you can listen for 9 hours. With the charging case brings it to 24 hours according to the footnote in the video.

Yes, the powerbeats line comes with mic. Though without a boom like Airpods like the Powerbeats 2 not as great mic quality.

This model employs beamforming between the two microphones (one on each side). I suspect the overall mic quality will be significantly better.

Never liked beats sounding headphones so no thanks airpods are for me, some people will be like wow its black now lol but nah beats never sound good to me

The current wireless on ears (Solo) sound solid, but generally, I agree. I prefer the sound of jaybirds and frankly pretty much any other over $100 headphone.

Wow. More vaporware. Apple makes really good quality stuff. What's to be gained by announcing so early? Just hold the announcement till you can say "On sale today".

These look great. The powerbeats 3 are my current gym headphones. I hoped they would put out a wireless version.

Apple is probably just encouraging people to hold out for these, rather than waste money on GalaxyBuds or some other lame product.

I can't wait to get a pair of these, waited long enough to upgrade my 3's. $250 is really not a bad price for the product you receive, definitely worth the upgrade and definitely worth the extra $50 from the previous Powerbeat's price.
