For me...the best AirPod feature is handling phone calls. I suspect these will even be better.

Glad I have an Apple gift card with some $$$ on it!

Way over-priced for a lousy 9 hour play time.
A little smaller than the Powerbeats3. Again, form over function.
Glad I picked up a new, spare set of Pb3’s for $100.

Damn, so like $300+ total for Canadians, eh?

I love my Powerbeats, but the cord is a nuisance to me, it slightly pulls my earpiece whenever I turn my head side to side and gets tugged by my shirt when I workout, because of this is breaks the seal in my ears making the bass sound bad, and it just feels loose overall.

Would love to own one of these.

I still have my Apple Store gift card for AirPower... so... I guess I’ll be buying one.

They have it on the Canadian Apple Store for an hour, it was priced $329.95 if my recollection is correct. But they took it off the page now. BTW, the order button was grey out.

My AirPods work great for me in the gym, they never fall out and I can hear what’s going on around me.

Ow. That is pretty accurate and a little cheaper than what Siri converted to from $250 USD to CAD.

So it’s like buying a HomePod if you’re American, but not actually. It feels like it though.

Yikes..... $250 is steep.

9 hours of listening isn’t specified if that’s with case recharge or 9 hours of listening “per charge” for each ear piece. AirPods 2.0 get about 4-5 hours and my AirPods 1.0 get (now) about 1.5-3.0 hours of listening per charge.

So, if Apple are advertising 9 full hours of use “per charge,” and they have improved sound performance over the AirPods, it might be worth a look relative to the $250 tag, but there are a lot of options other once u get over $250.

AirPods at $175 (est.) is a tough sell; these at $250 might be impossible. But what do I know about sales and purchasing lol.

The fine print says, in the ad, that there's 24 hours playback with the charging case; so it sounds like they're claiming 9 hours to a charge, which has piqued my interest.

I don’t get why people like headphones without wires. I love the fact that I can take off my headphones and just have them hang around my neck.
I like the fact that I have my airpods in my pocket all the time.

You get an additional 24 hours from the case

The article says they come with four different size earhooks so I gather the hooks are removable. But can you use the earphones without the earhooks attached? Would be cool to use the hooks only when I’m doing sports.

Agree that they are way overpriced, but its not because of the 9 hour playtime... That is really good for truly wireless headphones. Look around at other options, I dont think I've seen any that give you that much.... Also you do know its 24 hours total when you factor in the case right?

For $250 Apple couldn't throw in a wireless charging case seriously?

I bet they come out with one you can buy seperately in a few months or update version 2 with a wireless charging case to entice people to update.

The Apple website says this about the sound:

"Powerbeats Pro boast powerful, balanced audio thanks to an entirely redesigned acoustic package that delivers pure sound reproduction, enhanced clarity, and improved dynamic range."

If they have been revamped, then that is promising. I thing Beats sound way better than Airpods regardless, but a more balanced improvement would be really nice.

This is what AirPods sound like to me....

I hope the PowerbeatsProPodAir whatever, sound better.

Tim will be eating his face plastered in Wall Street thanks to those prices. Leaned nothing from the Xr and Xs sales debacle (and won't whilst idiots keep queuing to put it all on credit).

Yeah but they also said they rethought everything about credit cards then delivered a Goldman Sachs account with up to 24% APR and no contactless card.

If the sound is good. And the H1 chip it's a dead ringer for me. Just what kept me from buying the (to my humble opinion) overpriced Earpods specifically if I look at the sound quality and fit.

Presently listening to my Kickstarter Dash and still going strong. Battery life is only slightly diminished. All functions continue to work. And I have no issues with connections between earbuds or source. Also continue to use them when out and about with no problems.

I wonder if these were the higher quality wireless headphones Apple was rumored to be working on.
