Does anyone know if Apple has improved the batteries they're putting into these? I bought the first generation AirPods and they were giving me crappy battery life at the two year mark and then became e-waste a year later.

I don’t think this has Conservation Boost.

Will they do Lossless? If not, hard pass.

(Yes I can hear the difference so don't even start)
Have you done a blind hearing test?

You can definitely hear some Bluetooth codecs, but I’d be surprised if you can tell with the upcoming lc3.

Great to see better FaceTime audio calls, I wonder if this also translates to improvements when using Zoom or regular (HD Audio) phone calls.

FINALLY! A pair of entry level AirPods that are water resistant.

I've damaged two pairs in the past from either water or sweat in the gym.

Also, I struggle to get the AirPods Pro to fit, but the normal AirPods are great....So I'm glad they didn't alter the fit/design too much.

I hope they haven’t gotten rid of the double tap control. I hate the force button thing. Might have to stock up on airpod 2s. I knew they’d ruin the perfect product eventually.

The original AirPods (and second-gen) are already super-comfortable to me. They are the first in-ear headphones I’ve tried that I can wear indefinitely with no discomfort at all. I often forget if I have them in. I’ve always been a sucker for the well-balanced sound Apple’s wired and wireless buds have produced, so I can’t wait to hear these, although I may hold out for the new pro models next year. I’m still rocking my second-gen pods after two years, and they still get solid battery life.

They’re definitely one of the best accessories Apple has ever made.

The apple website has been updated with a product comparison. It appears that the Airpods Pro are also sweat and water resistant -- is this a feature that was previously unadvertised?
I have the previous version of the AirPods Pro and as I recall, it always had sweat and water resistant feature. I think Macrumors just had it wrong.

I love the noise canceling on my pros but the fit is horrible for me, tried every tip multiple times. The only thing I've found which helps is to wipe the tips and the insides of my ears with a BD Alcohol wipe prior to using them, it really helps but not a perfect solution. Doing so keeps them "stuck" in my ears and I don't have to reseat them as often while running. With that said, if I could get my $$ back for the pros I would.

I will keep the pros for indoor bike rides on the trainer while watching the iPad due to the noise cancellation but the new AP3's will be my goto for everything else. I look forward to them not falling out on a run or in the gym..
