The mileage MR will be able to get out of Apple PR announcements for Spatial Audio in specific vehicle models from car manufacturers is incredible.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them generate 50 Spatial Audio in car articles.

It is likely that everything and I mean everything will move to a subscription based model.

It could be that private ownership will be outlawed unless you are the ultra elite ( the .01 %) who will own everything and will rent to you what they believe you need.

Moving to a cashless society and implementing a global social credit system could be used to decide who is allowed to lease (aka subscribe) a Mercedes or if that person is limited to a Toyota or worse public transportation.

It's a "whopping" less than 1% of the price of the car. Adding the same to my Volvo cost $3500 in 2015.

That was 2015, manufacturers will nickle and dime for everything now, interior led lighting? A whopping 500 usd. They call it supply issues, hell I just walked out of a dealership and noticed how a 2022 luxury brand suv had more features than the 2023 😭

That seems to be going away with EV's, for the most part, from these same manufacturers. Customization is becoming more limited, to everyone's benefit.
