Apple says the latest Apple Watch model can play music and podcasts directly through the speaker for the first time.
Ok, but can you listen to music from the watch on bluetooth headphones while shooting video on the iphone? I mean, it’s been a few years now and still not a peep about this fairly basic feature…

No, but they can take a rough guess. Apple already guesses the cardio fitness metric and doesn’t even include any of the data that’s available in the guesswork… and probably a bunch of others, so why not this too?

Can't believe 46 mm is now the smallest Apple Watch..(not to mention the only one). It's like they're pushing me towards Garmin even if I don't want to.
I'm holding out hope that they've kept the 41mm around and just didn't talk about it since there isn't anything marketable, but given that it wasn't mentioned at all, and the rumors last week that it was going to be 46/49mm, I'm unfortunately thinking the small one is indeed dead.

I wonder if they discontinue the smaller SE as well?

Does the base Aluminum model still use Glass?
Good luck with that screen..
Ridiculous these screens aren't sapphire for the price

No price announced for Edition model?
Yeah, you know then

Ultra touting 36 hours battery for a hardcore fitness watch..
At least my Samsung watch can power share from my phone with no need to bring a cable.
It's also sapphire standard for less money.

I have the glass Series 7 and the screen is totally fine. Actually better than the case, which has a few nicks and scratches. There hasn't been an Edition model in years...the titanium model replaces the SS this year.

So there are 2 sizes offered! (45 and 49 mm)? Will the existing 41mm bands fit the 45 mm models?

49mm is the Ultra case size IIRC. Where did you find that graphic?

A lot of the watch's health features are probabilistic based on ML models, and this is probably (pun!) no different. Of course it's not as accurate as full medical diagnostics. They said it only works for moderate to severe cases too.

That image is inaccurate, the Apple Watch Ultra is 49mm and the Series 10 is smaller (even though it has a larger screen):

Remember, 49mm is about case size, not screen size.

Wow, thank you. So MacRumors posted a wrong picture :(

I can’t believe it. Are they really not offering smaller S10? Waiting for store to open up to confirm…

I wonder if they couldn’t handle thinner case and all the miniaturization with smaller case? Disappointing if so.

Sleep apnea is pretty easy to detect since 90% percent of the population over 40 has some degree of it.

Hey Apple, I have a better idea.. how about keeping the same thickness and increasing your battery life instead?

I sold mine after finding out how pathetic the battery life is.. what an absolute joke.
