I'm surprised the macrumor title didn't mention AppleTV since the invite clearly shows it will center around the AppleTV which is exciting.
ANYWAYS, it looks like the new 'epicenter of change' thing is more with merging all the OSes together more... making more things work with the watch and OS X.
They'll probably just add a little more depth to the interface. Not going back to the old dated 3d design
How long does it usually take them to post the keynote after it's finished? I have class right when it will be.![]()
My real hope is that they do something about their naming conventions. Can we get away from naming things with silly numbers. I mean iphone 6 and 6+, iPad Air 2? Really? And same for the OSs. Please give me iOS flat and OSX Gibraltar and forget the numbers.
[You guys are on to it.] The new TV is coming! Fiiiiiinally
An app store, HomeKit on steroids and a new 'always on' hub for the house to connect everything. The epicentre.
Watch + iPhone will be your UI. TV will be the brains to coordinate with all the 'iThings' that'll connect seamlessly with the new APIs.
TV with new partnerships will further sever your connection to traditional cable and the extra A8X muscle will pave the way for gaming to become 'console like' experience; iPhone/iPad/iPod will be your game controllers.
The logo hints that iOS 9 will feature drop shadows and bevel highlights.
Hmmm..I'm 17 years old and I have an iOS app. Should I submit it? It's nothing impressive, though. Just a fun chemistry related app.
Absolutely. You never know, especially since chemistry apps may be rare. I saw a Github repository of people's submissions last year and while they were really good, some were almost like resumes.
I went last year and you should do anything in your power to go. It's awesome and you won't forget it. It's super fun.
Interesting that they've used quite a lot of drop-shadow on the design.
This kind of translucent design would actually work better completely flat so maybe they are hinting at the return of more shadows and a less 'flat' interface?
Might be relevant for the local US market, but WWDC has a more global focus.Epicenter = Earthquake = Shaking things up = Shaking up Cable TV Industry?
If it wasn't a few years too early, your comment would've made me think of the rumored autonomous car. Also "Epicenter"...
The shape looks a bit like a compass? Another hint?...
Eh, just follow the liveblog at one of the websites like Anandtech or Theverge.![]()
