This would be my guess as well. With the face tracking they can give the UI and apps a 3D effect much like the failed Amazon Fire Phone.

This is really cool! I'm not sure I'd like to have that on all GUI elements but it could be useful for a few things.

If the last couple of years are an indication, Apple didn't start charging cards until about 2 hours before the deadline. So, they'd start charging cards in a bit over 4 hours from now.

My guess from the invitation is that they are going to incorporate system wide Workflow app features (which covers the modular theories) - with a heavy focus on AR
