Can REAL non-fullscreen window snapping finally be added to macOS?! Windows has it. There are a several 3rd party apps that provide it. It is clearly not technically challenging, or difficult to design from a UX perspective. It would be a window management improvement that is actually designed FOR THE MAC and not just borrowed from iOS/iPadOS.

I feel like all we ever get on macOS these days are borrowed iOS features. Not saying those are all bad, but it would be nice to see some new ideas that didn't come from a phone OS/tablet OS. This approach is seriously limiting macOS improvements.

Looking at this graphic, it's like looking at Campus 2 Saucer with Apple lights on. Be cool if they could light it up at night in that manner.

Honestly, looking at that graphic… I see a new iOS High Contrast feature in Accessibility.

I’m preparing to be whelmed by the AR/VR headset

I would love to see this too, but it's one of those things that, considering how doable it is (like a backlit external keyboard) and considering how long they've gone without implementing, I'm thinking it may never be added.

Blasphemy!

But seriously what is wrong with the current design. Everything on mac doesn't need to use a UI that was optimized for mobile phones.
It's funny that some tend to think MacOS is inching closer to mobile OS's, particularly with so many Mac apps use a sidebar. The iPhone/iPads is not the same, and as you pointed out their form factor has settings optimized for vertical scrolling.

I believe it will be announced because WWDC makes the most sense to announce it as it will have its own OS and WWDC is when Apple discusses OSes.
I agree that would make sense, but developers are interested in evolution of existing platforms as well. It'll be interesting to see how much excitement AR/VR inspire. I'm not excited at all at this point.

Fully remote even if Covid isn’t an issue? It’s like apple looked at the situation and decided doing things remote might actually be better.

Without Steve to do the presenting, it doesn't matter how they do it. I mean Steve could make an exciting presentation about a boring product. Lately, they do the opposite by making some boring presentations about some pretty cool products. If they would just let Craig handle the presenting now, that would help a little.

I'm kind of hoping this is the big new product they will launch, Because... it's a product category I have no interest in owning or developing for. Regardless of price. I already have a long of things I would like to have and I don't need to add anything to that list. 😁

I hope there is no new features for the Mac and only under the hood improvements. Oh, and please give us back the old system settings. Thank you!

AR Headset, iMac with curved screen possibly 34", studio display of same size, Mac Pro with 6 CPU's or 6x the power of everything else, and 2 other items (new OS and introducing Apple Bank). ... all equal to 6 new items.... and/or possibly a new AppleTv too that now supports 6K.

So are they going to announce the headset? That is going to be interesting, regardless of it's shortcomings.

I'll need to stay neutral to get the most out of the event, as I have doubts about ever using one. A bit of a tease, is the way I see it.

A 15" Air may be doable.
