Probably both. Show off a bunch of them coming to everyone at WWDC, then another impressive batch that are exclusive to the new models for the iPhone launch.

Normally I like know WWDC date announcement but first time ever I am disappointed cos I wanted iPad announcement instead!!

Such events require an actual personality to really work though. Moving to the hybrid prerecorded presentation/in-person media demo format was the best way forward.

That would be nice. My wife works in event management, and I think that in-person has lots of pluses and intangibles that virtual events lack, but... I can see why companies are moving away from them. Expensive events that someone is likely getting a bonus for replacing with always-virtual.
