Looks an awful lot like this:

Also, why does the logo look compressed vertically

Hopefully the 'one more thing' is Tim Cook resigning

Last year I predicted it would be his last WWDC so am hoping he'll be gone beforehand. Not that I dislike him, just that it's time to pass the reins to someone else who can take a fresh approach.

Hopefully they continue with the lack of AI integration garbage; they're the only big tech company that's somewhat respectable at the moment in that regard.

Another all new design where everything is the same and some basic Safari and mail tweaks are lauded as major OS features.

My guess is that you will know Cook's retirement date at least a year in advance.

"WWDC 2024 will be an online event that is open to all developers at no cost."

"Though WWDC 2024 is an online event, Apple is once again planning a special event for select developers and students, which is set to take place on June 10 at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. Attendees will be able to watch the keynote and State of the Union presentations at Apple Park, as well as meet Apple employees and attend the Apple Design Awards."

The difference is the one online is open to all devs, and the in person thing is by invitation. Just wondering what do you get to do as a developer for online event? What is the benefit of being a developer over any member of the general public? Is there something interactive we get to do?

There is going to be a lot of disappointed folk on here when they realise Apple has no AI and it'll all be Gemini.

Last chance saloon for me, if there's no redesign and basic awful AI then I'm jumping ship full time.

There's on-device AI, which Apple has been doing for a decade and there's cloud-based generative LLM AI (the type which Gemini and chatGPT are based on). I think you'll see a lot of work on both fronts.
