I've been "pending shipment" for a while now. Perhaps they are out? Or stalling?

I was just wondering that too. Mine has been "Shipment pending" since 6/26. Supe said it would ship Monday and I'd get it Tuesday but obviously that's not going to be the case.
I'm starting to think I won't actually get one.
2 days of just "pending shipment" now. I'm wondering if they put a freeze on any Bumpers that weren't already out the door.
I hope that they completely stop giving out free bumpers so these threads will finally stop once and for all. While they are giving them to some people and not others its only encouraging more people to create bumper threads

My email didn't say anything like that. It just said they are sending me a bumper and on the phone he said it would take 2 days for me to receive it. Since I did not order from apple.com I can see no order status. But, speaking from experience, apple have sent me good will items before and thu have done nothing different so far sonim 100% confident that all customers promised a free bumper will receive a free bumper.
Yes, it still says "pending shipment" but I took his question to be how long to just get the initial email after the phone rep said he'd get a free bumper. Not when the bumper actually ships.
Gotcha. It just is worrisome that somebody who called and "got a free bumper" on the 26th still hasn't seen it ship.

Mine says ships 5-7 days...I got two follow up emails..and mine was promised sunday night the 27th. You guys have got to be patient..in addition I ordered this case for freakin 10 bucks..it looks like it would be more protection...
this guy is selling a ton of them...for 10 bucks shipped...i'll take a chance..if the bumper is no good...

She mentioned something like shipping in 24-48 hours (most likely 24 hrs) and that was around 4:30PM yesterday, it's 9:18AM today. Does the e-mail come when it ships? Or is it supposed to come earlier?
I guess I can wait a few days, but what if I never get an e-mail? Should I call, ask to speak to a supervisor, and explain what happened? She pretty much said that she was sending me it...if I don't for some reason, I'll be pretty disappointed

I think we just have to be patient. I also got the choice of all the "colors" and I mentioned to the Supervisor "are you sure you have them all? The website says Mid-July for most of them"...
..he checked and said "wow. You're right. I guess it's just black".
Point being. They may have told us "24-48 hours" without actually knowing that they are out of them ALL or backordered, you know?
