She's in Anchorage! With a delivery date of June 24 at 4:30pm. I was originally a July 2 (ordered right when it changed), ordered through Apple at 7:31 PST, I'm in a densely populated area (Los Angeles) and she's a 32gb, traveling International Economy Distribution- to help those people speculating ...`

She's left the Fed Ex location in Anchorage! Tick tock...

I wonder where she goes after Alaska if we live in California?

Edit:
It looks like FDX86 to Oakland, Ca. I live in Southern California.

still waiting on that iphone 4 shipment status for the uk to change from not yet shipped :(

My wife and I bot have our tracking numbers. I love how some people said it was 1 iPhone per account (family plan)...
I'm pretty excited, I hope to sneak home during work to get it Thursday.

it was people who were really in the know . the ONLY thing they were right about is that they couldn't be done in the same transaction, just had to complete one then the other.;)

My order details still says Prepared for Shipment even though it's supposed to be Delivered on June 24th should I call Apple?

I'm guessing there's no hope for me on getting one at this point without waiting a month.

How did you figure out that your order is on that flight?

If you look at your tracking departure time from AK on FedEx.com. Then match it up on that site by looking up FedEx flights from AK you should find where your flight should be going to next.

Wow, ha that sounds badd that I looked up all that stuff.

Oh ok I dont think that my phone has left Alaska yet because it is still only showing:

"Jun 21, 2010 1:09 PM In transit ANCHORAGE, AKPackage available for clearance"

how long after that do you think it will take to fly out?

I completely understand, this is exactly the reason I used the pre-signature feature on my first shipment. Don't meant to sound rude, but did you read my first post? I did everything it said: Printed, Signed, Left on door, went to work. Came back and there was a FedEx doorhanger saying a signature was required. I'm sure FedEx/Apple includes these links on all purchases and FedEx/Apple manually decides what requires a signature or not.

If a pre-signature works, cool. But just in case, I called in at work. :p

a type of signature is based on shipper only.. Now if the customer makes the declarded value more than $500 9/10 times it becomes direct signature required!

it's couriers descresion. Hey prob coded it as an "unsuitable location" feeling it could be stolen. Usually at apartment complexes where the office won't sign for packages/closed during delivery... Again this is only speclation!

This is what I have.

Departed FedEx location
ANCHORAGE, AK

I just looked up departure times for FedEx at that time and that flight was the only one that matched. As for how long it will take before it flies out... It took 4 hours in AK before it departed on mine.

I think i figured it out. I was looking at the website and I figured out that I can just look at all the flights that have left and none of the Fedex flights match up to my estimates of where my package will fly into first from Alaska. I live in Georgia so I am thinking that it will probably be to Memphis, TN.

Hey. will you keep us posted on if Fed Ex changes their mind about having extra people work on Wed. to deliver iPhones? Thanks!

My iPhone appears to be on FDX9168 and will be arriving in Memphis in 2 hours. The departure time of the flight, 3:13 PM matches precisely with the departure scan from Anchorage in my tracking info. I wonder if it's going to be on a flight from KMEM to KDFW tonight or will it sit in Memphis (I think sitting at the hub is unlikely). Maybe they'll even put it on a truck for ground delivery to DFW since they have time.

unless they made special plans for the iPhone then all letters/docs and international packages (priority overnight) get sort in Memphis then to Oakland.

The time on the FedEx site when it left Anchorage and the actual departure time on FDX86 match (5:07PM). Every time I've ordered from Apple, it goes from Anchorage to Oakland. Pretty sure my iPhone is on that flight. It's scheduled to land at 9:31PM PDT... in about an hour. California people should see arrived in Oakland tonight.

ha well I could be completely wrong in any case. Doesn't really matter much since they'll all be delivered on the 24th :D hopefully servers won't be too overloaded with everyone trying to activate their phones.

I called apple and the lady guranteed me 100% that i would get it on thursday (mines the same status) She said maybe you will get the tracking once it gets sorted in america but idk thats what she told me

Thanks for the info. I'll be home from the gym around midnight, so hopefully I will see a nice suprise on the tracking page that my phone is now in California.
