apple is expected to release 7 versions of the iphone 6 today (4", 4.3", 4.7", 5", 5.3", 5.5" & 5.7") so that macrumors users can shut the hellup. Capacity is expected to range from 8gb to 256gb.

:d
I WANT 512gb 6"!

What would have been funny is if Apple went along with iFixit's prank and also put the announcement on their front page. I know Apple doesn't usually participate in April Fools day jokes, but still...

One of the best April Fool's jokes ever was when Larry Wall and Guido van Rossum conspired to issue an announcement and a couple of mock interviews -- allegedly merging Perl and Python to create Parrot. O'Reilly Books even got into the act and created a mock book cover.

Some users of either scripting language hate the other one, and the reaction by them was visceral.

However, a few years later, Wall and van Rossum got together to create a common byte-code and interpreter for Python and Perl. It's being used for other scripting languages, as well.

And of course, it's called "Parrot".

Yay, I guess no random artist mockup of new hardware today! I guess they are done just for any other day but today :p

Yep the articles are as real as a rumor that the rumoured 5.5 inch display apple is putting into the iphone 6 is going to be delayed because of production issues.

Apple is a listed company and I don't think they can legally tell such lies on the front page.

wow.. MR needs to report on everything does they ?

April fools ? Hey i got one, Lets not report on iMoore...

(no don't do that)

I reckon of of the sites they try and play pranks are just running out of ideas..... However, look how many people probably fall for them... I would bet its all social networking people...

That tells you something...

The camera that follows you round is a joke, if i were that guy i'd miss the bag, and push "it" out..

(i think i got it)

Loved the bit about not having to buy nail files using flow. Also the safety glasses while using the manual typewriter (kids: google "typewriter")
I really liked the Swiftkey one. The manual typewriter part was great. I also liked the one with the girl "typing" and the guy holding those silky coloured ribbons. Absurd & funny! How can they stay serious doing that???

You guys must be fun at parties.
Yup, that's what I thought.

Does anyone remember John Dvorak's MacUser April Fool's column which was mirror-printed? That was a good idea, if a bit annoying.
