Does anyone know how many workers there are on that site on any given day? These videos I must assume are done after working hours because there is so little going on. It's incredible to watch how this building takes shape so quickly. When you think about every nut and bolt and weld that needs to take place it's impressive.

A big tell is how many cranes are in the air. I would imagine most of these videos are shot on the weekend, but I have witnessed a flyover around 12:15pm when we are on break.

I reckon they should have the FBI or people on guard with guns drawn to fire at drones that fly over...

Then again, who would wanna guard an incomplete empty building....

I wonder how much power this thing will use

Whilst I think the Auditorium cylinder looks incredible, there's no gutter detail!

The General Section seems to confirm this too.

Foster, what a rookie :p

EDIT:

I've been investigating.

Below you can see something that might possibly be a shallow surface drainage.

The underside shows steelwork that might integrate drainage, but I'm really not sure.

Kudos for having the cohones for flying between the crane arch spans at 0:18!

The first video is a mess. The editing hurts my eyes and head. The second video is great, as always.

That would be mine. Thank you sir!

Thanks! Glad you liked it. I'm always trying to think of creative ways to incorporate the cranes into my shots.

Just be careful not to incorporate the crane into your propellers.

Your flying skills getting better with every video. Still hoping silently you'll fly into the building searching for Tim's office.

Since the Campus runs on recycled water, they must be capturing all the rain water they can.

As you surmise, those slits most probably are the gutters.

Just so you know... Apple's flyover data for the spaceship was updated on the day of their march event.

Just thought it's a fun little easter egg.

Looks like a really neat building.

I wonder how much it will cost per day to keep it running. Can't imagine the type of pressure it will add to the company's need to grow to maintain it.

Why? Apple has tens of thousands of employees in building they don't even own within 5 miles around this building.
They'll probably save money long term by moving there.

Fitness Center? Those people are going to be in great shape just because of all the walking that will be necessary in that complex. "Bob, I'm going to walk over to HR. I should be back in 3 or 4 days..."

Which is not to say this isn't an amazing concept and structure. I hope to see it in person some day...

Why don't they all just work from home?

No need for a new headquarters, then. They can sit at their computers, munch on their pizzas and not move an inch. Atrophy.
