My score is over 800, very little revolving debt, and a mortgage. I'd bite for 12.99% just for possible discounts/deals/0% finance deals etc., but my offer is 17.99%. I see no reason for me to get the card as the interest rate is higher than my other Visa cards. While I try and pay off monthly, in which case the interest rate is moot, it's a principle thing for me.

Just got mine:
17.99% with a 800+ credit score and over 100k / year income.
My only debt is my house and it is currently worth twice what I owe on it.
How the heck do I get 12.99%? Million / year income?

I pay off my current Amazon credit card every month. I use it for everything to get free books!
I think this card it a bit out of my league.

I would guess that you didn’t get the 12.99% because you don’t have a well established revolving credit history. I got it with a similar credit profile except I have about $60k in credit limit in other cards. I never go over about $4k a month and pay them off in full every month, but, it’s still a long history of paying off my cards in full and having a responsible usage.

I have an 840 credit score w/ over 15yrs of history, no debt, got a lame credit line of $8,500 from GS @ 17.99%.
I have other cards w/ limits of $35k+.
I entered 160k as annual income, did not add wife’s income.

I noticed it automatically changed my iTunes billing card from my Capital One card to Apple Card. Nice.

Also, apparently you have to use Apple Pay to get the 3% cash back Uber deal. With Apple purchases you get it whether you use Apple Pay or the physical card.

I wonder, does anyone else have a credit lock/fraud alert that was ignored. I always get a soft decline, then they call to do extra verification. They didn’t do that with me for the Apple Card. Super fast approval, but, could open people up to fraud.

Been using my card a little over a week and i love it! working great. I love the sound of the card when i bounce it of a marble surface like a bar counter top. People want to see the card first hand and touch it.

I got 17.99% with a $7,500 limit with a 750 credit score and 140K in income. I have a car note, a Best Buy card and a hell of a lot of student loans. I'd guess your income has less to do with the interest rate then your debt.

I guess I have to squeeze another 20 points on the credit score.
I did just get married last year, switched to Geico and stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. Probably what added the other 5 points.

I've been using the myFICO app for the last year - its a subscription service - but I wanted to monitor changes to my FICO score over a period of time to see how payments and charges affect it monthly - it was interesting to see the pattern of events over a period of time and see it improve as I paid off more and more debt.

Available to all customers in the US... Unless you have a Washington State Enhanced Driver License which still is not recognized by their Photo ID verification software...

Currently I use the Amazon card for dining and online, and gas, which overall is better than the Uber Card. Then Capital One at 1.5% for everything else. It's the best combination I have found.

With the Apple Card, I'll essentially just have it on my phone and get 3% on Apple stuff (which will be automatic) and 2% on Apple Pay which will be better than the 1.5% on Capital One (where it is accepted).

Not sure how you beat this combination (overall speaking).

Well for one thing, the Capital One card at 1.5% is not the best card for cash back on everything. Citi Double Cash card will give you 2% back on everything. Using my double cash card and my uber card, I can get 4% for bars and restaurants, 3% on uber and travel, and 2% for everything else. I don't food shop often. The only perk I see of the Amazon card is the 3% for gas. It all depends on your individual spending though obviously.

For those of you having trouble getting the app to recognize your ID....it wasn't recognizing my NY id until I cancelled the application, turned off my wifi and closed and reopened the app.

I actually have a fraud alert placed on my credit though transunion for a year, and I received my card instantly. Either that's scary, or maybe because I'm using my phone, and taking a picture of DL that's it giving a better assurance that it's legit?

I guess shipping estimates won’t slip to 4-5 weeks by noon. Did they lift the embargo on reviews. Did iJustine do an unboxing? Which colors did they release.

Wait. What? This isn’t a product. Does it come with a loyalty punchcard? Buy 8 iPhones, get 1 free...

I wonder what y'all APRs are? I'm afraid even if I get approve with my low credit score, my APR will be freaking 24%! I'll probably wait till they have 0% APR promo?? Too bad I can't use at Costco.

You forget the 5% for online purchases through Amazon. I don't eat out often, and rarely fly so it works well for me. Will have to check out that Citi 2% double cash though. You are correct in that there are likely better combinations out there for people that spend differently.

Got mine last week. Card came in yesterday.
With 800 cred & under 100k wage, they gave me $10,000 credit line and 12.99% APR.

Daily cash works as promised. The Wallet app makes it easy to pay off transactions the next day so you can utilize the 2% Apple Pay perk on a lot of purchases. Any big Apple Pay transactions I make that I know I can pay off the next day, I will use the card. My primary use is for food, especially going out because of the privacy of the card when I hand it to a stranger. Another big perk on my end is that my rent can be done through Apple Pay so that pays back the service and BS fees I have to pay monthly.
Yea, other cards give 5% like my freedom card, but they’re not consistent with purchase categories and you have to push a button to enable those perks. Also, you only get money back in gift cards or Chuck e Cheese ticket like points. Has anyone every redeemed those big prizes?
The Wallet App is fantastic btw! It tells you what’s eligible for cash back %. Yea, can’t sync with my bank or Mint but all I care about is the total bill at the end of the month for my budget excel spreadsheet.
I tried customer support and it was pretty fast. Especially when you can just do it in iMessage instead of calling and waiting on the line. Btw, the reason was for the Arbitration Clause in the Terms of Service. Yea, if you’re reading this and have the Apple Card, Google it. Basically if you don’t opt out in 90 days then you can’t sue or participate in Class Action against Apple or GS if they mess up. The great thing is you can do it in iMessage and most of it is automated. Took less than a few minutes from text to done.

As a person who loves tech, Apple Card is cool! It pushes me to look for Apple Pay kiosks which is what I think Apple intends for it to do, pressure retail to get with the times and Apple make its commission.

Is this where I come to humble brag about my credit score or the amount of houses I own? Just want to make sure I'm in the right place.

"I'm an 813... Well I'm an 850!" Do you really need the attention that bad? You do realize you're making yourself a target... right? Would you like to provide your credit card number and ATM PIN as well?

Seriously... no one cares. Apply for the card or don't. Just move on with your life.
