I guess shipping estimates won’t slip to 4-5 weeks by noon. Did they lift the embargo on reviews. Did iJustine do an unboxing? Which colors did they release.

Wait. What? This isn’t a product. Does it come with a loyalty punchcard? Buy 8 iPhones, get 1 free...

It actually does have a sort of loyalty punchcard, buy 34 iPhones get one free.

Speaking of which, does anyone know if the Citizen payments (monthly payments for upgrading your phone) would qualify for the 3% or 2%? Technically it's an apple purchase.

Sorry, you said only debt was your house so I assumed that you didn’t have any other credit cards. The only other thing that I can think of is DTI? Or “lower” income? (I don’t need to know those, I’m just guessing. Although, it’d be interesting to have all this data and do some analysis on it sometime)
I have two ( well now three ) credit cards that have $0.00 balance at the start of each month.

I have an 840 credit score w/ over 15yrs of history, no debt, got a lame credit line of $8,500 from GS @ 17.99%.
I have other cards w/ limits of $35k+.
I entered 160k as annual income, did not add wife’s income.
Happened to me and I closed my Apple Card account as the lame credit and high interest rate are so not worth it. For others, who are lucky enough to have decent credit line and interest rate, enjoy the card :)

Also 17.99% for me with similar stats (no mortgage, however), but since I will pay it off every month, I don't really care about the interest rate.

While I normally wouldn’t care due to the fact that all my other credit cards have a 35k+ credit line, but with an $8,500 credit line from GS that I got I can’t even buy a new mac pro when it comes out or any other high end apple workstation for that matter...

Guess I’ll have to use my discover to make a purchase that’s over 10k.
(I pay off my balances in full every month)

Is that 840 across all agencies (Trans, Equifax, Experian)? Or just one, and of that one which score (Credit, Car, Mortgage, General loans, and of course score 3,4,5 8, or 9)? There is way too many to pick from to know exactly what they are using.

Trans + experian.
Don’t have the info on Equifax.

What world is that person living in to get that much daily cash?

If they are all 3% daily cash vendors, that's only $1542 spent during March. I mean, yeah, $526 at Bloomingdale's and $578 at Apple in the same month is higher than average discretionary income, but it's not super rich or anything.

I wonder, does anyone else have a credit lock/fraud alert that was ignored. I always get a soft decline, then they call to do extra verification. They didn’t do that with me for the Apple Card. Super fast approval, but, could open people up to fraud.
Me. Though I unlocked and then locked, so I'm not sure about the lock.

Can’t add my Apple Card to my original Apple Watch. WTF, Apple? OS upgrade required? No OS update available. So... I have to buy a new watch now?

Those transactions took place over 1-2 days

Obviously it is a marketing scheme to rope in those who are easily fooled into applying for the card. Neither Apple nor Goldman Sachs (with its disgusting track record regarding the 2008 global financial crisis) benefit that much if everyone pays their card balance fully every month. So this marketing approach aimed at less savvy potential applicants will attract a substantial number of people who are attracted / amazed by all the supposed potential cash back possibilities. Many of these folks, if granted a card, will end up spending beyond their capability of paying in full monthly, and voila, GS and Apple start raking in the interest on the unpaid balances, at interest rates that in many cases are verging on the obscene.

According to you. Apple has created a system that allows Apple Card users to view their balances and either pay them off in advance, or at intervals that are more convenient for users in order to avoid paying interest rates. Plus, you get notifications when your payment is due.

My suggestion is not to speak for everyone as situations are different for individuals. How someone chooses to spend their money is none of your business.

I changed the payment method to Apple Card and got 3% daily cash.

It requires watchOS 5.3 and you would need an Apple Watch that is supported.

Doesn't that lower your credit score? Closing an account? Or is that an old wives tale? Do they not give you the opportunity to see the terms and CL before agreeing to apply for the card?

Anyone get this ?

Ok, I'm gong to trust you! Seems like a question that would come up more than it has. Thanks for the insight! Switching the payment method over now.

Yes happened to me the first time. Just re-do it. When you go take pictures of your id, make sure it's tight and not blurry and there is no light reflection bouncing off it. Also solid background.
Mine went through the second time.
