If you've been holding out on getting an Apple Card, Apple is offering a referral program right now that will net you $100 in Daily Cash if you sign up and then make a purchase within 7 days.

You can get the cash reward by signing up through this link, which leads to the Apple Card application website. Apple is letting current Apple Card owners know about the promotion and suggesting that they pass the word along to friends.
You probably know this already, but we love having you as an Apple Card customer. Right now, for a very limited time, you can help your friends earn $100 Daily Cash. If you refer Apple Card to a friend and they open a new Apple Card by September 30th, we'll give them $100 Daily Cash if they also make their first purchase within 7 days.
The promotion is valid through September 30, and accounts opened after that deadline will not qualify. Apple Card owners who refer their friends do not receive any kind of reward.

im guessing adding my just turned 13 year old daughter to our account as a shared participant (or whatever the term is) doesn't qualify?

I’m confused, what’s Daily Cash and does the purchase have to be made on the Apple Store? It’s implied by the marketing blurb and the responses here but don’t see it explicitly stated anywhere.

Daily Cash is just the money you've gotten back from the card. You can either spend it as cash via Apple Pay or use it to pay off a balance. As far as I can see on the offer page, you don't have to make that purchase at Apple.

Sounds like a purchase anywhere - which makes sense, the idea is this is a credit card for anything and they want to get your referral using it.

A hard pull and ding to your credit score for $100? 🤣

Sorry, but I will not accept anything less than $200 of which there are many.

I don't want to be the "old man yells at clouds" guy (which I'm not as I'm under 33) but I just don't get the allure of this card.
3% is nice, sure, but the fact that it doesn't have purchase protection or extended warranty makes me so confused on why people would choose this card over a card that offers those features plus a $100-$300 sign up bonus.
Do people actually like this card because it has good integration with iPhones?
