if you have no real income than you shouldn't get it in my opinion. how would you even pay the bill off month to month?
Well I have a job at my university. I only meant that I’m not making 5-7 figures annually-so I was wondering if they would even consider me as a viable candidate.

I think people exaggerate income all the time. It’s not much of a factor imo. It’s more your score.

I got rejected with a score of 740...

They said my debt to income ratio was too high, though interestingly my credit utilization ratio was fine.

I wonder how soon I can reapply?

Got my email about 30 minutes ago. Just went into the wallet and it was approved and set-up in 5 minutes. Not sure if or how much I'll use it but I guess it's cool to have it. Say's I'll have the physical card in 3-6 days.

In a chat with Goldman Sachs, they told me there is no limit on how many times you can apply and you can reapply whenever

Nobody knew early invites were going to be a thing. The signup page was to be notified when it was available. Nothing more, nothing less, unless I’m missing something.

Now that we know it's a thing and that people who did sign up to be notified are getting early access, I think it's okay for me to be disappointed. Nothing more, nothing less.

I am having the default bug that others have reported. In the wallet app I set my Apple Card as the default, and I get the message that this has been done, but, in fact it hasn’t, as when I leave the app and go back in, my old Master debit/credit card is still the default.

Has anyone seen a cure for this?

Anyone have any luck asking Apple for an invite lol - Traveling next week and would like to use this

Im still really curious why some folks had to take a pic of their drivers license and why a lot of us did not, and how did Goldman Sachs approve our cards with only the last 4 of our social?

it could be that, they already have your info from when you setup apple cash card, or if you had done any apple product financing that you have done with apple.

Did you get any notification from the app? I got approved day one as well and I haven’t seen anything.
I didn’t get a notification, I clicked the info button and it showed physical card shipped with tracking info from fedex

I was hoping to get 12.99% interest rate. I probably won’t use the card for anything other than Apple stuff since my main card has better cash back. I rarely carry balances.

Maybe this is all just a lil buggy right now in the early stages. I am still getting the unavailable message even though I got the invite. May be it would be a good idea to just hold off until it's cleared up?

Is this happening for anyone else? It's been going on for 2 hours now. I've rebooted the phone, disabled all VPN profiles and content blockers and tried it on LTE & Wifi. Running 12.4

Yep was invited via email.

I was able to apply with no problem. But I receive that message when trying to get the credit card number. The card works with Apple Pay. I called apple care and they created a ticket. They will call me in the next few days with a resolution. Goldman's customer services is not help btw.

this is not true. while yes, it is best to pay off any balance on your credit card each month, especially for cards with a high interest rate, having a very small balance is still good to maintain each month.a couple hundred dollars each month is fine to carry over. it will not hurt your credit score, just as long as it's a low balance. it shows you using the credit you have available, it shows your an active buyer and really, the credit agencies want to see you using your credit limit responsibly.

You let a statement cut, and then pay in full. You pay no interest doing it this way. Always let a statement cut though or else you never show utilization. You still want to pay off it full each month to avoid interest.

You don't need to carry a balance to show utilization, it just has to be on a statement.
