This is a terrible idea! That company is actually Experian, and the goal is to lock you into a $29.99/mo product. For ***** and giggles I looked up how to cancel.

This is Experian's main number that's impossible to speak with anyone, and repeatedly hangs up on you. I was trying to get my report refrozen after learning used TU. They were impossible, and finally getting someone 45 min later was incompetent.
I bet they train their CSRs who take calls to cancel to hang up "accidentaly."

Now we are in the exact same boat. I called Apple, explained to them the situation and even shared with them the email I got and they confirmed it was from them. After doing the basics, they escalated it to an engineer. So now I play the waiting game.

Got a call today — engineers wanted some additional information. I still get the error (unavailable) if I try to apply.
Waiting game for me as well. Frustrating. Let me know, as well, if you get any resolution to this problem.

that sucks! You’re not alone tho. At least yours was escalated. They couldn’t help me for being on iOS 13. But something has to be wrong on their end seeing how a lot of people are able to apply and there’s a handful with invites getting an error.
Hi have been checking this site all day seeing if there has been any big news. I have still not received a letter and no offer when I click the + button. Even tried the link hundreds of times, no go. There is rhyme or reason to how the invite letters are going out. I’ve been dedicated to the apple brand since the original iPhone. Apple does this on purpose to drum up the hype and we are all obviously drink on the kool-aid!

based on what. People have been getting invited for two straight days. I think it will continue until the official go live.
Why do you think it is done. I believe around 2 million people signed up for the Invite. The preview may take a week.
I wasn't able to sign up till 11pm last night. They do it all throughout the night. Just keep trying every few hours or so.
Looks a bit like my Apple Wallet, except I haven’t had a reason to pop for Platinum yet - don’t travel enough to justify the AF.
I still continue to sign up. Seeing if repetition wins out. Doesn’t appear they limit how many times you ask to be notified.
The sucky part is is that we have no ideas when the official launch will actually be.
WRONG! It's not necessary to ever carry a balance and show you're using the account. I hadn't used a card in over a year until there was a reason to use that particular card.
It's counter-productive for a cash-back card to EVER carry a balance. One interest hit and it'll wipe out all cash back gains. Stupidity!

I think so because the number of new posts with people getting invites has slowed to a trickle. Obviously not scientific or based on known fact - just a feeling.
Several people have posted on here about being declined. One was able to later get approved.
I’m honestly worried about getting declined. I have been working hard to rebuild my credit after a divorce. I won’t post my scores but they are fair. We will see if I ever find out...before the official launch at least. Still hoping for the chance for a preview invite.
