Apple Card Rolling Out Today to Limited Number of Customers

I added my name to have Apple contact me about the card day it became available and never got an invitation. The link doesn’t work for me as it just says “not available…” But my kid sister came over for dinner and she mentioned she got an unrequested invitation. When she tried to use the email link it told her she needed to update to 12.4 and when she updated got the “…unavailable”. The gods must be crazy.

Sure, to people who mentioned not getting the email. But I see people who tried anyway still getting that pointless "just..." suggestions.
 
Got an invite today, already over it though. Most credit cards will give you at least an interest free period for signing up on top of cash back for purchases. I’ll save the credit check for a good offer from an established bank.

We have. It doesn't do a damn thing but throw an error or bring up the camera. That was true the last 50 times that was suggested and it's still true now.

We wouldn't be saying it doesn't work if it worked.

This isn't a mature product line where we all have experience. Most of us haven't even had the opportunity to apply. I don't have the card yet.

I sympathize, but being mean isn't going to fix the issue.

I got the invite email last week. Still doesn’t work for me. Called Apple, they told me I’m not in the approved invite list. I asked then why did I get an invite from them? They had no response.

Got the invite this evening. Started the process & had to take a picture of my license & am stuck in the "Unable to verify photo ID" "Your photo ID could not be verified due to a connection error" hell.
 
Got mine. The process was very smooth.

I was able to register last night but still haven’t gotten the email.

Didn’t get approved for the lowest interest rate, but I didn’t care since I don’t ever intend on using it.

Have made 2 transaction so far and 1 of them butchered the category. I submitted a problem report so we’ll see if it gets corrected.

Pretty slick experience overall. Got approved in 2 minutes and am now just waiting for card in the mail.
 
Can’t add it to my first-gen Apple Watch. Says I need to upgrade to a new watch. I can add my other credit cards without problems but the Apple Card, I need to get new hardware. Oh, Apple, you and your shenanigans.

There are a few others here who have gotten 40k approvals on Apple Card. My lowest current CC CL is 30k, with others from 35-60k, so I figured I had a shot...I’m guessing like most they’ll increase it over time if asked.

Lmao total bs. So funny how people will just throw numbers out on a message board. Doesn’t weed out pathological liars who get 40k limits on a credit card that gives $500 credit limits. If you make that much money you don’t need a credit card, honey.

Signed up right after we were able to do so to be notified early... still nothing...link doesn’t work either just like everyone else... I got bored though and started adding some of my credit cards I already have to Apple Pay and found out there is a 12 card limit with Apple Pay (credit cards) so I had to delete one so I could save a spot for the new one if I ever get an invitation! Not that i need another credit card though!! Lol

Interesting. That is the first I have heard of that issue. The difference in speed between a series 0 and series 4 will blow your mind :)

Then get pre-paid card and money it according to your budget!

Just shows how uneducated you are with respect to how people with money, make more money. Charging everything to credit cards with benefits, cash back, points, rebates etc. My son owns his own construction business and flies 1st class everywhere he goes....without paying for it....., hotel stays free, manufacturer discounts. I could go on and on. Interest rates don't mean a damn thing, because a balance is never carried.

yup. using credit responsibly is not a bad thing. I use my cards all the time, especially my airline linked card.

Where does it show ordered? I can’t find anything about mine. I got approved Sunday.
 
Received my email yesterday. I was approved for $4500 at 23.99%. No chance I'll be using it at that interest rate.

Other banks passed on this because there's no profit? BS! At 23.99%, which MANY people even with good to great credit are getting, there's no way there's not profit to be made here.

What else was to be expected from Goldman Saks?

I clicked on the card in the wallet, and down below there was a message with an X to the right. I had to close the first message, and a second message came up telling me that it was ordered but not shipped.

Approved Sunday. Check my FedEx app & there is a label created for my card. It will appears in your FedEx account before Apple will ever notify you. Arriving Thursday 8/15
