After I couldn't win the Jan 2017 one, I am so winning this!
Wish badges and Activity data synced with iCloud, it will suck to lose all my data when iOS 11 is released and I wipe the phone entirely :c
Yes I'm in the same boat!! My OCD forces me to clean install any new OS, and start a new iPhone without a backup!

Lol....creating cute stickers to celebrate earth day while bulldozing hundreds of acres of trees to build the monstrosity of a campus.
It will run on 100% renewable energy and they will replant the trees

Have you been to the internets? Fake points and gamification are all the rage.
So true. The watch even has a workout setting that will grant you all the calories burned that you could ever want, plus the exercise points all while you sleep or drive which ever activity you wish to set it for before you begin such task. Those two rings can easily be filled in under an hour by doing this and of course, the stand ring takes 12 hrs to complete.

Give it a rest. I have a 2006 model iMac in my home right now that still works perfectly well with no issues, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who can attest to the fact that their hardware outlives most of the competition easily.

Actually. You're helping his point.

Your computer is 11 years old. That's a testament to how things were done over a decade ago

Unfortunately it's now 2017. Apple computers are NOT THE SAME AS THEY WERE THEN,

Apple very much is in the business of having you replace hardware on whole frequently now. They are prime motivators of the disposable throw away consumer culture. Almost all of apples current offerings are meant to be used for ~5 years.

It's great that Apple is aiming for 100% recycled parts. But there are still problems with carbon and energy footprints. Recycling isn't free from those. There's energy and environmental concerns with it too.

There's a reason why recycle is 3rd in the list of "reduce, reuse, recycle" mantra, because it's the worst of the 3. But reducing consumer purchasing, and having consumers reuse parts on their own is bad for business,

I'm curious... how did you get the completed badge already? I did my workout today but the badge doesn't show as achieved yet.

You're being too literal. Their Blue shirts will be "Green." They will still be blue colored, but will be woven from hair retrieved from sink drains and employees are encouraged to wash them only once every 32 wearings.
I know at least the last part of your post was a joke but to be clear for skim readers they are actually green

According to Apple Support, OTHER activities do not count against the badge. Something I only found out after my 90minute of weight training did not earn me a badge. Thanks Apple.

I rode my bike 21 miles and did not get the badge even though I recorded the ride as Outdoor Cycle on my watch. My husband rode his bike for 46 minutes and recorded it as Outdoor Cycle on his watch. He did not get the badge either. My sister went shopping and set her watch to Indoor Walk for 30 minutes and she received the badge. So I decided to clean my house and set my watch for Indoor Walk for 30 minutes while I did a brisk cleaning. I immediately received the badge.

I do not understand why the badge still did not show up for an Outdoor bike ride. My husband never did get the Earth Day badge yet he closed all 3 activity rings and recorded a 46 minute Outdoor bike ride with the watch.

You are right. Their hardware lasts long enough as it is, that there is NO further environmental benefit to be gained. Let's just call it a day, guys.

/sarcasm.

I got the badge... I used indoor walk and turned it on while I was at the mall for a couple of hours just to see if it would work. Apparently it did.
