Neither motive excuses morally bankrupt behavior. Especially when that motive is ego and/or greed. Nice try though.
I have the same "Phone by Google" app on my Motorola that the Pixels do (it's downloadable from Google Play, which is the app store), but they have a hardware check, I guess, because they mention that some new features are only for those phones. I had a Motorola phone years ago that actually had the (pre-AI) call screening feature, but since then they locked it down. So you need to decide what you like about that phone app.

Is that just for phones, or also for tablets, now?
That explains why my current phone is still getting updates (Motorola only used to give out one major OS update for their low end when I bought mine). I'd love it if the cheap tablet makers had to support longer, too. I don't think my current tablet's ever had even a security update, while my phone updated to October's last week.
It's hard for me to pin down specific things I prefer about each interface, but I definitely prefer the way Android handles notifications.

Falling asleep everywhere, has to be told what he's signing, can't give a coherent speech, can't walk a straight line, barely knows what his own people are doing half the time, has to be led around like a senile old man. I didn't vote for nor was I 'good' with Biden. Like I said, Biden wasn't a criminal, rapist, Epstein loving pedo, con-artist, traitor. Anyone with a conscience and modicum of intelligence and morals should be pissed that this piece of crap is in the White House. Have a great evening.
