Tim(e) Cook. He's almost a button on a microwave oven. Never liked this guy, never will. He's shady, slippery, and elitist.
Exactly. I certainly hope not. Look at Steve Job's commencement speech at Stanford. Absolutely one of the best speeches I've ever seen. And not a sliver of politics in the whole thing. Can’t wait to see what kind of left wing ideologies he will push this time
You are right Mike EhrmantrautWhether he's wasting time giving speeches or actually working on Apple products, this guy's contributions are useless either way. Nothing of what he's done has made Apple products better. Dude may as well give speeches every day.
Sounds easy to say. But I wanna see you run a major company and tell the shareholders.... “yeah, you are gonna make less money because we won’t do business in China.... and not legally use tax laws to our advantage....because you know... morals and such...”
See how that works out.
Not that long ago I would not have given a thumbs up to a statement like this, though I was growing concerned about Tim Cook's business decisions going against his stated convictions so many times. I had long thought that he has years of experience and has met so many influential people that it would be very interesting and an honor to hear him speak. No but then again I don’t go around virtue signaling about civil rights on one hand while boot-licking oppressive regimes on the other....
Tim "Me Too" Cook innovating not at all, politicking to the hilt. Steve Jobs PLEASE call home!I'm just gonna leave this here:

You damn well and good that Tim's going to use this address for politicking. He has everywhere else he's given a speech.
Based on ...?I’m sorry, but this guy is an absolute creep. I wouldn’t want him anywhere near college students.
1. LifestyleBased on ...?
So, essentially some sort of biased stereotypical generalizations, to put it lightly.1. Lifestyle
2. Incessant politicking
3. As innovative as a turnip (sorry turnip)
4. He looks like a creep
There was so much courage in that speech."This is the best speech we've ever given."
Yup, there's basically almost no one using and enjoying Apple products for close to a decade now.
There was so much courage in that speech.
Based on ... ?Using and enjoying aren't mutually inclusive. A lot of people are doing the former, very few are doing the latter.
Honestly. If he's going to act like the second coming on stage I'd like him to walk the talk.
I'd love it more if he just admitted to being a standard CEO monster and stopped with the MLK quotes .
I’m sorry, but this guy is an absolute creep. I wouldn’t want him anywhere near college students.
Stanford commencement was Steve’s gig. Tim Cook should have respectfully declined the offer from Stanford out of respect for Steve.
I’m beginning to like Tim less and less as of late.
He’s never been even accused of any impropriety. What are you talking about?I’m sorry, but this guy is an absolute creep. I wouldn’t want him anywhere near college students.
This can’t be serious.
Steve shopped at Lunardi’s. So Tim needs to get his groceries at Safeway.
Steve drove a Mercedes. So Tim needs to drive BMW.
Steve ate rocky road. So Tim needs to eat tin roof sundae.
Steve once gave a commencement address at stanford. So Tim needs to limit his address to just foothill college.
