More interested if he just resignes or gets fired... Apple need fresh ideas and leadership.

I keep seeing this. Why on earth would the board remove a CEO who has seen nothing but growth and success? Developers who are cranky about the state of the mac is not a reason to fire a CEO. Tim has done an amazing job for Apple's bottom line. Perhaps better than anyone else could have after Jobs left.

We designed the most amazing, magic pipeline.

Seriously, I hope that he actually says something and not only self-praise.

The board wouldn't remove him. That's comical. Although, there are a select group of members on here who think they have the slightest understanding of what it takes to manage a 43 billion dollar company. This disgruntled group of individuals manage to translate there anguish by expressing "Cook must go" and they can speak for the better of the Company. Cook has taken Apple to lengths Jobs never did.

Yes. But you miss a HUGE point. Apple is not a cash printing factory....they are an innovation company and they are dead in the water when it comes to innovation. Same thing happened to Microsoft after Gates stepped down. Same thing was going on at Blackberry just before it tanked. Enjoy the ride but the future of Apple looks rotten. They have been coasting since Jobs died. Steve Jobs had the creative genius and could harness and inspire the company. Tim Cook I guess just likes to look at himself in the mirror or either pose like Rodin's "the thinker" to impress people with his "deep intellect and superhuman grasp of megalithic issues". Ive is a wonderful product maker....but theres nobody that knows WHAT they should be making....what problems to solve....how to package current innovation in a way that wows people. Apple just prances around and tells people how wonderful they are.... elitist pricks.

I have some exerts from tonight's episode:

"We have some great, exciting products in the pipeline that I'm excited about"

"Well we don't comment on rumors"

"It's in our DNA"

I just wonder how many times Cook will use the term "pipeline."

As far as Cramer's work, I think his best analysis of a stock was his take on Stark Industries in Iron Man.

I mean, at least he let us know that the Mac Pro is about to get its deserved attention again, the display is coming back etc...

All words at this moment. I wouldn't wipe my butt with that script.

At this point, only time I believe anything he or anyone else on the exec team is when it's officially announced/debuted. How many "great pipelines" do they have? How many "strings" have they pulled or how "interesting" is the area of TV? Now AR?

Shut up or put up. If it's in the lab, no need to blab. I say that because how many pet projects are in their "labs that never see the light of day" do that have? I don't care.

That's my biggest beef with Apple. They talk about all the great things they have in store for customers and it's the same incremental crap year after year. And before you say, "you don't need to use Apple __x__". I'm hear to say that I don't. And now you might say "why are you on an Apple website then?" I am because I like to keep tabs on tech news but I just can't stand Cook and crap he spews. This is just going to be the typical yes man interview.

Cook has taken Apple to lengths Jobs never did.

You really said that? Without Jobs having reinvented a close to bankrupt Apple and made it a viable company with the iMac, iPod, iTunes Music Store, iPhone, iPad, totally reimagining what laptops should be with the first TiBook, then the white MacBook, then the MacBook Air Tim Cook would have nothing to rub his snake oil on to pretend he knows what he is doing. Even when TC has a decent idea like AW or AirPods he can't get production lined up with the launch date. So it's a joke that you would put TC ahead of Jobs. TC is nothing without the legacy Jobs left him and Apple.

Thanks for your opinion, but I disagree. For the record, I wasn't disparaging against Jobs. Jobs has been a factor in Apple's timeline and relevance for Apple's upbringing. But Cook and Jobs are two separate CEO's. They both have had different lengths where Apple is today. I view Jobs left a legacy and Cook still has been promising with the Airpods and the Apple Watch. I agree Apple has made some Mistakes with recent launches with the Airpods and the Apple Watch, but that hasn't short sighted their overall success with both of those products.

I see Jobs as a visionary, where Cook is more of a numbers/statistical leader who knows every facet of the Company. I do think Cook has a vision where he believes the iPad is heading to be a PC replacement, which not everyone agree's with. But overall, some
Products have not seen updates as regularly
As they could have, placing emphasis on the iPad/iPhone/Apple Watch, etc.

Overall, Cook may not be liked, but you can't deny how the company has made progress under his leadership and I can appreciate his take on the Comoany and his determination. I think this will be an interesting year for hardware and I have no complaints about Cooks leadership. I understand we differ though and I see your points from a historical standpoint.

would some watch it and post on how many political statements that Timmy makes? I will be out of town and unable to see it.....

Developers of what? Blogspam?

Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful... that's what matters to me.

An Apple love fest will incur, nothing hard hitting like ... don't you think having 63% of your revenues tied to a single product is risky for your shareholders.

Nope, it's going to be a feel good piece letting Tim say Apple supports a variety of personal lifestyles, creating power from algae, and a bunch of nonsense like that.

Algae fuel is actually a super good idea.

Don't forget about how Apple continues to be interested with Augmented Reality....Apple being at the intersection of technology and liberal arts....same old same old.

I can hardly wait to compare the estimated things he says with what he actually says in his interview. I miss how Steve Jobs would say something completely unexpected like "You are holding it wrong.". But Tim Cook only has a few things he will say and recycle those phrases during his entire life.

The board won't but the shareholders will. I own Apple stock and I vote Tim out every year. Someday I may be in the majority.
