I see “private company” tossed around like iOS hasn’t become this daily life essential utility used by millions if not yet billions of people around the world. It’s reached critical mass and demands at least some level of oversight at this point. Come on guys, this is not the same thing as the iPod Games Store.

You wanna be a stalwart defender of unchecked capitalism and see what happens when one company is allowed to run amok? Look no further than Facebook and all the subversive damage that’s come out of it. You just happen to like Apple more, that’s all this is.

not unchecked capitalism, fair capitalism. Surveillance capitalists like google and Facebook need to be brought into check long before apple need looking at.
