Apple.com 6/17 Online Reserve

No, actually in Silver (Cumberland Mall). That's the color I wanted anyway

It almost seems like Apple forgot to turn on the regular reservations page, or maybe they are still only just letting people with IUP reserve due to the problems with pre-orders.

Was anyone in the US able to successfully reserve a 7 Plus on the IUP page? I checked so many stores even right when various time zones went live, and I didn't see a single 7 Plus.
 
Hmmm... I'm a bit concerned. I was able to reserve a 128GB 7 Matte Black, but when I looked at the stuff it told me to bring it, it said that I needed to bring in my current phone to turn in for the IUP. Did I just reserve a phone that was exclusively meant to be only for current IUP customers or do you think they will allow new customers who want to join the IUP?

I had one selected, chose my appointment time and then the request timed out and all the 7 Pluses were gone. Pretty sure they were never meant to be available - looks like Apple is only showing the 7.

You will be fine. A friend of mine used this link to get a phone today. He wasn't a member and they honored his reservation and he has the phone now.

It will be Unlocked/SIM Free.

I used the IUP earlier today to get my girlfriend a 7, we are T-Mobile prepaid so IUP is not an option. When we got to the store they gave us the option to sign up for it, but when noticed it was not possible they just sold us the phone full price. So you should be good.

Thanks for your responses. Looks like I'll be getting the new phone at 10am tomorrow :)

Apple should redesign their iPhone selection page a bit. Instead of first selecting a store >Model, they should go Model >Store. Much easier flow

Apple's being a major troll by having all the Plus models on the reserve page and not having any in stock.
 
Tempted to get an ATT phone. It works with T-mobile right?
Ugh and I had convinced myself to get the plus.....

Hey bro, I am trying to follow your steps however I get stuck at the Upgrade this phone then reserve to upgrade in store...I don't see thse options when I click the 7 plus model. Please help!! :)

I have a reservation for tomorrow. I have a 32g tmo matte black that I want to switch out for verizon matte black 128g.

I got it reserved but my concerned is getting turned away for saying that I want to buy it gu price . I know it says in the FAQ you can "upgrade" to full price but I feel it's for existing upgrade customers.

Don't worry. Once u have a reservation and they have a phone for u ( that's important), u can purchase it as u wish.
 
At 12:15 am.. I went through the process of online picking up through the apple store app for a ATT 7 plus black and during the carrier verification it didn't go through but I got this email..

"
Dear Apple Customer,
Your iPhone has been reserved and your reservation number is: XXXXXXXXXXX

We will email when we’re able to reach the carrier systems. The email will include instructions to complete your order as well as the return link. You will have 24 hours from the time the email is sent to return to the Apple Online store to proceed with your order. If you do not complete your purchase within 24 hours, your reservation will be canceled.

You may check the status of your reservation at any time by visiting buyiphone.apple.com/status.

So does that mean I somehow got one?

if you did iphone upgrade program, the phones are unlocked and sim free from the start.
