I agree, as what she is implying is that there is no stock of any device config on the East Coast.
I guess we'll see when that time rolls around central.
That'd be cool except when the stores closed many of the ones on the east coast still had 7's. If it was showing current inventory it should be showing at least those 7's.

No, last night all the 7's got refreshed on the list at 12:01 local time.
It showed them at about 12:03 - 12:04 the other morning. I'm not sure why it would be different today. And for what it's worth the rep I spoke to said 12:01 local time as well.
My gut feeling is that they are going to actually do what it says on the website and update stock at 8AM your zone. When I asked the sales rep today why the stock was available way before 8am online he answered that Apple had "made a mistake". I think they fixed it.
I don't think so. These exact same questions were asked last night. Last night I checked the site at 12:01 local time (central), 12:01 pacific (2:01 for me), and again after 8 this morning and all nothing, some 7s but I want the Plus. Just checked again now and nothing, not even 7s.
The funny thing is those of us that aren't IUP shouldn't even have that link. And it's the only one doing anything.
Can you please tell me where on the website it says 8? I've never seen that anywhere since yesterday when the site updated to say 12:01. No where does it say 8am does it?
It changed to 12:01 from 8am on Friday afternoon and hasn't moved since.
Anyone else's page not update yet? I find it hard to believe that there's not a single state other than Hawaii that has at LEAST 7's. Where's the refresh Apple?!
Exactly. It doesn't say 8 anymore. I know there are always some delays with launch, but there's never been a problem before on iPhone launches with this many people unable to get phones, has there? This reminds me of the original Apple Watch launch where they basically had nothing for weeks.

I just find it incredibly odd that not ONE store in ANY state other than Hawaii, doesn't have a phone...
i remember 2 years ago when i got the 6 plus and ordered the night after the launch. The site did this and took every store out of stock. then one by one they all updated. Last night i missed out but heres hope to tonight. the only other thing is they might be waiting for Hawaii to close and then update all at once.
If that's the case, they need to slap a PST or something after that 12:01am to end just a fraction of the confusion going on with this launch...
Everyone keeps trying to contact Apple reps on chat about this confusion, but I think it's clear at this point that they don't know any more than we do. Has anyone tried to email someone in the executive team at Apple to ask about this fiasco and get a clear word on when we will be able to reserve these phones?
I miss the days when I was a teenager and I cared as much as you guys do about having the newest iphone within the first week.

after I click the "reserve today" link at the top of the iphone selection page it takes me right to it. Maybe it is different for the Canadian store?
