I don't know whether to make a reservation for the plain black or just wait for my Jet black. Plus If i go thru apple and even switch to the verizon device payment plan at the store. I don't think I can still use the Verizon $650 trade in promo.
Just picked up my Plus from the Apple store. Used AT&T next without a problem. Didn't think I would have a Plus Sunday morning!
What's great is they print you a shipping label to send the phone back. This gives me time to sell my 6s plus for more than my AT&T payoff and make a few bucks.

I know but Id still be doing the Verizon device payment plan. So even though Im getting the phone from Apple, its still thru Verizon kind of. Im probably just gonna wait for my jet black.
Just came out of the Apple Store here and I got the matte black 128gb atat iPhone 7 plus paid outright in full! Thanks to all the contributors in this thread

Crazy how fast the experience is if you pay in full. I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes. No pre order, no reservation, nothing. I have always pre ordered in the past, and this was the first time I was considering skipping a generation. I got the upgrade fever when I was in store, and was easily able to purchase one and walk out.
More expensive than Next + all the issues people have been having with it don't exactly instill confidence.
You can use this link, but odds are your local store has walk in stock. The link below just reserves you a phone, and you can use the IUP, pay in full, or any carrier (next, etc) when you get in store.

Hey everyone I don't post much but I was able to reserve a Verizon iPhone 7 plus black in store and pay it in full . The guy was like you have att but you want Verizon and he laughed and said I know what your doing you did some research didn't you and I laughed . My jet black is in order still with a November date , that I'll be canceling soon . The Mate black looks awesome
Wondering the same. I was going to reserve a Verizon and use it on T-Mobile IUP if possible
Congrats everyone! This IUP was a great little hack. I wonder how long it'll last until Apple shuts it down for us that aren't signed up for IUP.
