If I reserve one in the town farther away from me and then my town re-stocks, can I cancel the first order and then immediately place another order?


Not immediately but shouldn't be but a few hours later at most. You can keep trying afterwards until you don't see the pesky "sorry there's an order on this account blah blah'. For me it took 5 hours when I've canceled . At first I thought you had to wait until you get the cancelation email but that's not the case.

in my case, less than 30 minutes.. but again, the 6s will be gone in less than 10 minutes. :mad:

It actually doesn't look like they are restocking my state now b/c it is just a single phone at that location and then a couple more in a few other cities.

Don't order those! :eek: Another poster and I had an issue picking one up, apparently the order was for us, but the Verizon number was for a customer who cancelled an order.

Oh, thank you!!! I remember now, but I can't believe they can never sell those phones again?

Edited - I see, there is a delay for it to be unassociated with the other person's line. Well maybe it will be there tomorrow.
 
I was flagged after 6.
What exactly happens? Did you do all of your p/u's in-store at the same store? In how short of a time period did you do 6?

I need to do 5 using my friend's account and he will kick my ass if I get him flagged. I told him it wouldn't happen with 5 but I don't even know what flagged means.

Idk what you mean. I am asking general questions. He doesn't have to answer if the questions are too specific and he is worried about identifying himself. But Verizon has already flagged him, whatever that means.

Happens every time for me if I am activating a device that hasn't been on my account before. I can't remember if it happens when it is a device that has been on my line before - it may.

:):):):):):):):)They text you a 5 or 6 digit number to one of your phones and you input the number :):):):):):):):):)

edited - if you have only had the line for awhile, they may not let you do the text, idk, but one time I think it was early on they wouldn't do the text and I had to call.

I know there's always a risk but how much of a risk is there to a udp if one had to call in to activate ones device?

Less risk if you get to tech support rather than regular CSRs. To get through to tech support you call from a different line and say you have trouble making calls from the other line and then you input the other line's phone number if prompted.
 
How do you know you get flagged. I'm in the 20s too. Luckily nobody has said anything. Hey notes how many iphone 6s have you gotten? Have you past the 10 limit mark?
This is what I want to know in general terms - do you get an email or a call? Do they prevent you from adding lines for 6 months, what?

My friend doesn't need to add a line for 6 months so that would be OK but I think he would freak if he got an email or phone call.:eek:

Had a few ordered and cancelled pick up with apple.com. returned one to apple.
One aol only
Port in and out Verizon.
Creating sub accounts.

Can you please explain fully what exactly is going on? Those are bits and pieces of thoughts.
It's enough for me. I think it is about too many iP6 orders canceled, problematic, returned.
