apple.com allowing me to add new iPhone to Verizon account with unlimited

They are selling for a lot less on swappa and I am not going to sell on ebay. You can make closer to $400 profit on the iP6. I would never risk doing a volume more than 5 lines. I know you have been able to do it, but I really, really, really can't have my account flagged.

How are they selling a lot less on swappa unless you're talking about the 16gb which I'm not . I've sold the 32gb for that amount quite a few times. And the i6 if you are looking at swappa is being sold for only a profit of the same amount maybe even less. The prices are dropping fast so the time to sell is now

Google isn't looking for volume sales on this device. It is a developer device - they make it for developers to use as a reference device to facilitate the development of android apps. So they needed to make a phablet Nexus since as we all know from the Note4 and iP6+ sales, lots of people want phablets and thus the devs need a reference phablet.

People who buy Nexi want 2 things - pure vanilla android and an unlockable bootloader. We can do everything else ourselves with mods and custom ROMs.

Someone who wants an iPhone will never be able to understand the appeal of a Nexus.

Can I unlock an iPhone 5s bootloader?

First and foremost. I've owned almost every android device there's been in the last 7 years and that includes the nexus and I never said that google was selling these for profit BUT at the same time they still want people to buy it or at least they don't want more people to be returning it. And people like myself want pure android etc but they also don't want not need a BIG phone. That's been stated many times

Furthermore you can't say in one breath that they aren't in it for the volume than mention the note 4 and iphone plus sales that's a no no. And we all know what those two phones already offer. Will the nexus 6 offer as much? Battery life anyone? Great camera anyone?

When you check swappa, you have to check the actual sales - the actual sales of new 32GB iP5s have been under $450. And there are a ridiculous amount of iP5s for sale on swappa.

So if you sell the phone for $425 after paying $160 when you factor in the sales tax and another $40 or so for swappa/paypal/shipping fees, you profit $225. I ship with full insurance so my shipping costs are high but as I have explained b/f, you can protect yourself in a paypal dispute better if the item was insured.

If you sell a new 16GB iP6 for $675 (which is the lowest they have sold for) after paying $215 when you factor in the sales tax and another $50 for fees, you proft $410.

Trying to get a line to get another 6+ Since I dropped mine yesterday. I have AppleCare+ but I'm digging the gold lately. for myself but those get snatched up super quickly.

Arghhh

Also it would be the 6th line I'm adding. Kept 2 lines and gave two friends one. I hope a 3rd AOL isn't flaggable. I know that guy got that fraud accusation after his 8th purchase

Then don't buy it. The Nexus 5 is still a good device.

The mention of the Note 4 and iP6+ was to point out that devs need a reference phablet. The Nexus program is not about sales volume. If they get volume sales, it is a bonus.

Obviously the 6 is the way to go, if you can get your hands on it. But still even $200 profit with the 5s isn't bad.

Like I mentioned earlier, I did a day or two of 5C because my store doesn't have any 5s. Aren't there more options then just the 8gb? Am I missing where you order those because for some reason that's all I see.

I think that guy was a troll. You can believe him all you want but he didn't sound credible to me. What he wanted he got - people nervous about doing this. He is probably a verizon rep or worse, someone who gave up UDP for an upgrade b/c they didn't know any better and now bitter about it when he sees what he gave up!

I'm sorry but NEW iphone 5s are priced at $450 to $550 on swappa and I can attest to this because I've sold this very model for $500 to $540 so they are not selling for far less. You also have to factor in YOU as the salesman OR saleswoman. You get people to buy your phone just the same as if you were selling anything at all EVEN an idea

And like the 5s there is also a TON of iphone 6s (not pluses) so competition is fierce for some

I'm already buying it. but how long I will keep it depends on what I've stated. Battery life and camera to name two big factors. And we don't need any more phablets. We need great phones

and NO MORE 16gb base models

It's not bad if you are selling 20 lines, but if you are selling 5, better to wait.

Like I mentioned earlier, I did a day or two of 5C because my store doesn't have any 5s.
Lots of us can't do this every day, though for a variety of reasons.

Aren't there more options then just the 8gb? Am I missing where you order those because for some reason that's all I see.
I only see 8GB iPhone 5c on Verizon's site so I suspect that is all they make for Verizon.

That's all they offer now to cut cost since new models are out. They also cut the 64gb iphone 5s. But they did offer 32gb iphone 5c before the new iPhones were released

Put those minions around you to work and you can do this everyday

They may be priced like that, but they aren't selling for that, at least not on swappa.

How long ago? The sale prices for these have really plummeted on swappa in the last 2 weeks. Again, you have to look at actual sales, not the devices for sale.

I'm already buying it. but how long I will keep it depends on what I've stated.
And this is why Google made it big - b/c those of us who want a Nexus will buy it and they get a reference phablet for developers. Thanks for making my point for me.

Ah that makes sense on why I can't find them. That sucks as it appears those were more sought after then these 8GB 5Cs.

No. Those of use who want a nexus won't always buy it as I've stated many of us want a smaller phone!! . That's why MANY people love the moto x. Thanks

Who the hell would buy an 8GB iPhone of any kind?!?!!?!?!?

New Moto X doesn't have an unlockable bootloader on Verizon. No thanks unless the chinese code seller starts producing codes.

To paraphrase someone on AC - you are going through the stages of grief right now and you will eventually come to the acceptance phase and buy it. You will. So will lots of others.

As I just stated I AM buying it so that paraphrase and referenced stages is moot.

Thanks for making me into a techie LMAO
I wish I could make you into someone who uses less emojis. We can work on that during our next therapy session. Since the profits from your Verizon UDP line factory business are up, I need to raise my rates, though. I now charge 2 UDP lines and an iPhone 5s per hour ;)

Now you jerks are talking me into the new Nexus. Just when I got happy with the LG G3. Thanks a lot.

I have to say my last experience with Nexus was the Galaxy and it was horrible at best. Hopefully there will be better luck this time around.

Don't buy it!!! she's just using scare tactics about grief and hearing voices (NO it's not Siri!)

lol right! Of course Android people take over and exploit the Apple glitch. I feel so weird going into the Apple store every other day. I do not belong:p

You need the Nexus 9, too.

B/c the GNex had those sucktastic Samsung radios/antennae. Plus, the battery wasn't big enough and the extended battery was only like 150 maH more than the standard. But other than that, the device was a beast for its time.

The Moto Nexus will have great radios, but we will have to see what the battery life will be like. Supposedly Android L is far more battery friendly. We shall see.
