Jesus. Yesterday afternoon I made sure to go into all the settings and make sure that all of my payment information was updated. First, I try to get the second phone into the cart it tells me that I can only have one. So I quickly try to place the first order. Nope. Somehow my billing information needs to be updated for apple pay. This takes, what feels like, forever. Anyways, everything ended well for now. Got both orders in for in-store pick up on nov 3rd 
Anyone know if the stores open earlier than normal on release day? The store I chose for an 8-8:30 pickup typically doesn't open until 10 but I was freakin out too much try and change it.

It took about 10 min for the app to open for me but I got mine for nov 17-24. Verizon 256 Space Grey
Ordered 256GB silver AT&T, got in pretty quick after go-live, initial screen showed Nov 3 delivery. Everything went smooth, chose Apple Pay as my payment option, it wouldn't take...said the phone wasn't near and/or BT wasn't on (nether were true.) Tried a 2nd time, got the same message, had to resort to normal payment methods...by the time I got it paid, delivery was Nov 10-17. Already got my confirmation email as well. Grrrr! Was even on a Mac and using Safari, all Apple ecosystem, and it failed me!
Oh well, Im guessing I'll move up in the list as things start shipping, and still pretty happy with even a mid-November date, considering all the doom and gloom being disced regarding short supplies.
ON another note, tried to order a 2nd one and was told I could only do that once I received and activated my current phone!

Yayy!! I got it!! In-store pickup November 3rd!!!
I was gonna do delivery, but it said 2-3 weeks, so I tried my luck with in-store pickup. Next Friday at 10 a.m.
Quick question: Does anyone know how pickup works? Do I need to get there early and wait in line like everyone else? Or can I just show up at 10 a.m. and skip the line? Also, am I given priority over those who DIDN'T pre-order? Meaning, is my iPhone separated from the ones they're selling to walk-ins and GUARANTEED as long as I'm there by pick-up time?

I've never had this happen before. Got into the store no problem. Went to order my iPhone X using iPhone Upgrade Program (new customer), selected AT&T, put in my AT&T info, then it said it couldn't contact the AT&T server. It said it reserved my phone and they would e-mail me with instructions to purchase the phone when they could contact the carrier server. It said I had 24 hrs once I receive the email to complete the purchase or it would be canceled?
Has Apple done this before? I've been ordering for years but never had this happen. Then again, this is a iUP purchase, so maybe that's why? I tried a different time with one of my other A&T numbers and it did the same thing. So now I have two confirmation numbers, both saying the phone is reserved and wait for an email to purchase.

I got my order in at :08 am. From apple website. My wife's order wouldn’t go through. So I had to order the other iPhone X from AT&T at :13 am
Same boat here although in my case, I have the address wrong as it pre-populated to my old apartment since I uses Apple Pay (App has my correct billing and shipping address). Since I was a T-Mobile customer, I got a 11/10-11/17 delivery date. I panicked and ordered another device from the app. but this time filling out the billing information instead of using apple pay. Order with the right address went through but ship date is 11/17-11/24. Hope to be able to go back into My Orders (apple.com) and change my shipping address on the first order, and cancel my second one.

I was able to get one order for delivery and one for pickup, both 256, one silver and one space grey
Annoyed - app didn’t come up until 12:10 for me. 17-24 now. Ordered 256gb Silver.
Here’s to hoping it shows up a little sooner. No order confirmation yet though. IUP reserves upgrade.

I kept getting an error message when trying to validate AT&T info... took almost 4 minutes and finally got in for Nov 17-24 delivery... and that was using laptop. The iPhone app kept giving me the error message. Space Gray 64GB.
