Found tracking number and shipped status by going to UPS and entering your ph number on file with Apple under track by reference number and mine showed up as shipped today 9-28-17.

The way I think about it is that when you see Departure Scan leaving CN, you have to corroborate that with the closest departure time of the UPS flight that matches it on flightaware.com.

same here, no charge on credit card either. i am pretty sure the dates will move to nov10-17 if not earlier. used to get mine every time on launch day, but this time, i had to enter thrice my information as verizon verification page used to timeout and throw me back to apple order page.
I asked Siri to set an alarm for 1:50AM the day before pre-orders. To my surprise there was a comment on the alarm notification that said "Apple Store". Cool...
So I wake up at 6AM when my regular alarm rings thinking..... WTF? I pick up my phone and the alarm is displayed with "Apple Store" but no noises. Well that was a disappointing glitch... Oh well, hopefully the order gets bumped up a little from the 5-6 weeks I am quoted on my order when Apple gets their production going into high gear (fingers crossed)...

Nope. I believe this only works for US orders.
Still nothing as far as concerns EU orders.

Your phone is already sitting in a warehouse somewhere in the EU.Should i worry about my order? Ordered as soon as the apple store opened on the app, did the upgrade through att next got charged that same morning at 430am it changed to preparing to ship around 1230pm and went back to order processing and hasnt gone back to preparing to ship, stil says nov 3 delivery date though
It's so odd. On Apple.com, my order says preparing to ship with no tracking number. On UPS.com, there is a tracking number listed because I signed up for MyUPS.

It’s because Apple doesn’t intend for you to track it internationally from the distribution source. They give you the tracking when they have it in our country on the appropriate final carrier, which can be UPS or Fedex.
Tracking has appeared on My UPS and Verizon (even though I ordered through Apple) is showing the order for my new iPhone X. 6 Days

I think it comes in waves. Today a planeload or two of phones will go to PFS and then the forum will be set ablaze again with chatter. Plus this seems to have gone much smoother than previous years. I haven't gotten a launch day iPhone since the 5. Every year I try to game the system by moving back and forth between ordering through the carrier or through Apple and do I do web or app. What made the 11/3 possible though was that 'reservation' while they waited for carrier info. That was awesome on their part and something we haven't seen before. I'm surprised it's not being talked about more. I essentially 'completed' my order at 5 am and I'm still getting launch day. My 5 am order last year earned me a 2 month wait for the 7 in Jet Black.
