Is it just me or are the threads a little less talkative than past years???

I think I remember the thread really heating up as some of the 2-3 week orders started to see movement. May have just been when I started really paying attention though.

Have you tried doing a reference lookup (using the phone number associated with the order)? You still need to fill in country and zip code.

Yeah, I filled all that out but got no results. Used both the phone number and my Apple order number minus the last two digits.

Was your card charged? If you're worried, you could always call Apple (or do a chat session) and have them check that there's nothing wrong with the order.

I think it comes in waves. Today a planeload or two of phones will go to PFS and then the forum will be set ablaze again with chatter. Plus this seems to have gone much smoother than previous years. I haven't gotten a launch day iPhone since the 5. Every year I try to game the system by moving back and forth between ordering through the carrier or through Apple and do I do web or app. What made the 11/3 possible though was that 'reservation' while they waited for carrier info. That was awesome on their part and something we haven't seen before. I'm surprised it's not being talked about more. I essentially 'completed' my order at 5 am and I'm still getting launch day. My 5 am order last year earned me a 2 month wait for the 7 in Jet Black.

This will be the first time I got a phone on launch day EVER...I usually fall in the 2-3 weeks crowd that always gets pushed up. This time was crazy smooth for me compared to past experience to the point it was scary like I did something wrong.

I was in that thread last year for the 2-3 week orders and I feel like if I stepped away from the thread for 2 seconds there would be atleast 3 new pages of comments

Yeah, card was charged. I guess that's what is keeping me from worrying.

Same here, about 12 hours since it went into PFS, still no results for shipping when I try that.

They can't ship everyone's at the same time so I wouldn't be worried. I can't track my phone yet, but in the past I haven't been able to track it until Sunday/Monday.

And they don't send the shipping email until Thursday so I wouldn't be worried.

I wouldn't sweat it. Maybe your phone is on a skid sitting in the shipping area of the factory and the tracking isn't generated until it's put on the truck. 🙂

I think you're fine. My tracking information is showing while my boyfriends isn't, and we both have Nov 3 delivery. I just imagine they are on different pallets or something and the next lot will be shipping out shortly.

How did you get it to work?

I used phone number but it didn't work until I had the date range end on 11/03/2017 instead of 10/28.

Also I used phone number but Order number without the last two digits would have worked too according to UPS

I feel like there are I lot of Verizon 64GB SG already here in the USA, because when I was pre-ordering every apple store in my area had them available to pick-up even 45-50 min after the pre-order started

Mine popped back out of PFS but I think that is normal. It did that last year to a lot of people also then went back into PFS eventually.

I have a delivery date of 11/3 and still can’t track on ups
