I ordered like 10 minutes after the apple App Store app finally started working. Got 2-3 weeks nov 17-24 silver 256gb. Anyone else have any movement who also has this date range? If the dumb app would have worked st the correct time, I would have easily gotten nov 3.

Can anyone help me with this question? I placed the wrong email address (I mistyped .com as .con) when I successfully placed an order on Friday morning. As a result, I never received a confirmation email, and I couldn't call Apple Support for help since they weren't taking calls on Friday. I placed the order using Apple Pay, which still shows a charge of the full amount of the order.

I just got off the phone with Apple Support, who basically told me that I would have received a confirmation email that required me to do extra steps to actually complete said order. Since they aren't able to find the confirmation # (since I never received the email), it would expire after 24 hours, which should have been yesterday. However, I just tried to place another preorder, and it's still telling me an order is attached to my number.

Does this seem accurate to anyone? Shouldn't they be able to look up an order based on my cell number and incorrect email address?

Hello all. First post here in a long time. I was able to track the shipment for delivery on 11/3.

For those who are still trying, please do not forget to omit the last two numbers of the order number to input for reference #.

Thanks for confirming about the confirmation email! I got the 2-3 weeks shipping estimate, so UPS wouldn’t show anything. I can still see the Apple Pay payment in my wallet.
 
Here’s a tip: Tracking by reference didn’t work at all for me on the UPS site, and the phone wasn’t listed in My UPS. But as soon as I downloaded the UPS app and logged in, the phone was listed in the app.

So for some reason the app displays the phone tracking, but it still isn’t on the website for me.

Quick question for those that requested a hold at UPS CC. I did this and it worked fine but now when I go back to view the delivery on the UPS app, is says there’s an Exception. Is this just alerting me to the change I made or is there a problem now? The tracking still all looks fine with no issues from what I can tell. Thanks

I had it before I switched to pick up. I think it is the tentative date that they show. As someone said previously it will disappear when it clears customs.

I get the same and think that's no reason to worry. It should be resolved once the package moves out of ZhengZhou.

Mine was the opposite. Long-time My Choice user, nothing in the app, or online. I searched by reference and it showed up. It appeared in My Choice two hours later.

The exception is generally until UPS processes your request to hold it. After it’s processed it should read something like “customer pickup requested” or “held for customer pick up”. Don’t stress it.

Oh I see. I actually do show a date of 11/3/17 but I think it showed tentative earlier for me as well. Should be fine then, thanks. I’m always nervous this week each year lol.

I think a few people on here are reporting glitches like this. In your case did you log in with your own Apple ID? Or as a guest? Are you sure you had a completed order?

Keep trying calling and see if anyone can help chase it down. You would think they should be able to look up with the incorrect email. If the order went thru then it should be there somewhere. If it went thru only as a reservation, then you may be out of luck.

That's normal.
 
I thought I would share my experience with Apple’s iPhone X order online mess. Yes I broke down and decided I would try to buy a new iPhone X. I stayed up until Midnight and could not get through until 12:15 am.
When I did get through I planned to pay it off in full but I selected the wrong option as I was checking out and I selected the monthly payments with ea year getting a new phone so I went with it. But during the process it locked up and gave me a message saying my transaction could not be completed. But do not order again as it may have been accepted. They date was around nov 17, but I did not order again until I woke up in the morning at 6 am and seen no change, no email confirmation.

So I then decided to reorder it again this time I would pay it off in full by putting it in my credit card. But when I seen the delivery estimate I nearly said screw it. The dates were Dec 11-18 nearly Christmas. Holy cow. But I decided ok what the heck, it would make a great Christmas present to myself.

Then later on that morning I Received a letter from Apple stating that they noticed that I had trouble ordering. They told me to give them the order number if I reordered or if I did not order again they said to complete a new order now and give them the order number. Sounds like to me they will move me closer. I hope they will knock off at least a couple of weeks. 7 weeks is a long time to wait. Well I got another letter from Apple they said they updated my account with the order I placed and for me to check my order status in 2-3 business days.

But knowing me I checked right away, no change yet. Then last night Saturday night I seen they changed my delivery from Dec 11-18 to a closer Nov 17-24. About 4 weeks earlier. So I am happy how Apple treated me. Wasn’t so sure if I wanted to spend so much money on a iPhone. I ordered the iPhone X silver with 256GB and well you all know it’s not cheap and I am not rich but I love technology and those who know me know this about me. I own a iPhone 6s Plus now snd I will sell it on eBay to help with this iPhone X cost.

Just thought that was really nice of Apple to do that. Just wanted you guys to know that I pulled the trigger and bought a new iPhone X. I love High Tech!!!
