Might be a redundant question, which has been answered already - is there a reason to believe that UPS delegated National Cargo to carry the phones to Anchorage from ZZ ?
The departure time is within 1 minute of when UPS tracking showed the phones departing ZZ, and nothing else leaving around the same time was heading anywhere near the US.

Historically, we've seen departure scan timestamps match up with plane departure times. UPS's normal fleet did not have any departures from CGO (ZhengZhou) around that time, but we know they go through Anchorage, so this particular flight fit the bill.

Still speculation until we see an arrival scan in Anchorage matching with the NCR arrival time.

I'm also in the ANC->SDF flightpath, so my ADSB receiver will be tracking the flight(s) as they go by and feeding that position data back to FlightAware and FR24. :D

Would you know that with the current appox location of the flight, would the onboard guidance system have picked up the Glide-slope radios for the ILS approach? Or is the plane still too far for that?

So does Apple usually mark as shipped once on US soil? Or more like when they depart Louisville in route?

11 minutes!

Says 5 minutes now. but with 192 miles. Flying at 585 mph, i think its gonna be more than that. Probably another 15-20 mins.

First time on today...right about what?

I have a friend that works at UPS and she told me this morning that the flight was going to go straight through from Zhengzhou to Louisville stopping in Anchorage. Others had said she was wrong and it would go to Chicago instead.

So I was a little happy when it turned out she was right.

All the reviews on YouTube are saying Face ID works flawless but TheVerge saying Face ID doesn't work in sunlight

Honestly, I don't entirely trust their review cause they never showed a clip where it doesn't work

Watched their video earlier, and I think he was expecting way too much leniency in terms of the iPhone's position when invoking Face ID especially in those lighting conditions. I believe if he would've raised the iPhone X slightly, holding it closer to a selfie position then Face ID would've worked flawlessly as described by most of the other reviewers.

I have UPS MY choice account (free). I tried to request delivery change to hold in CC but it says delivery change unsuccessful. Do I need to have Premium Membership? Thanks.

No, premium membership isn’t required and I have the regular membership when I placed my request.

Mine is supposed to be delivered 11/3 from apple but my order still says Preparing to ship.

As far as I know non of the orders has been switched to "shipped" on Apple's website. Even those that are able to track it on UPS, such as myself, and are seeing it left China are still getting "preparing to ship" on the Apple online store.

I'm mildy surprised there isn't one of us who lives in anchorage standing outside the airport fence with binoculars to advise time of landing. LOL. Sigh. Guess I have to settle for refreshing the flight aware page. :D
