Still torn between the 8+ and the X... ordered the 8+ (256GB/ATT) for now... I will have 3 weeks from now to decide whether to keep it or return it and go for the X... or just return it and stay on my 7+... but I have one coming, anyway.

Huh, that went pretty smoothly. Gold 8+ 256GB ATT, scheduled for next week, processing now. I remember when the 6+ first launched, trying to order that was way harder. Though that was the first + phone, so maybe now they've caught up. I wish there was a 128GB option, but at least now I don't have to delete anything off my phone, probably ever.

I wish I could wait for the X, but I'll be busy during that time period due to certain circumstances and I would prefer to have a new phone before then. And the 8 still sounds pretty good. Now I just have to ignore that lingering worry over not getting the upgrade plan/Applecare+ (never needed it before, probably won't need it ever, but I still worry).

So the apple app store was up first so I did the iUP. Since I did the pre-approval and approved. It was a quick process I have a pick up date of 9/22/17. I then ordered Sim-free model 256 GB Space Gray x 3 all for 9/22/17 delivery.

iPhone 8 64gb ordered.

Disappointed it doesn't have portrait mode but the X is too expensive and the 8 plus is too big.

Will sit back and relax and see what happens for next year hopefully they retain a cheaper iPhone and don't make it £1k starting price. Would like new iPad too but again the Pro model is priced out my range and probably is for many people.

Canadian iPhone 8 64 GB preorder with 12:04AM confirmation. It says September 25th ship date. Are any other Canadians seeing the same thing? I know for past launches they've quoted the wrong date in confirmation email but it ends up arriving on launch day...

Hi everyone! Got my 8+gold256 at 12:02 with launch day delivery. Laying here now wondering if I'm just dumb for upgrading my perfectly fine 7plus haha. I'm such a sucker for new phones! I'm on IUP at 12months so I just said what the heck. Ya I could have held on to my 7plus and sold it next year, although I'm thinking the depreciation will be higher with the new models being in higher demand. Anywho, my plan is to (maybe) upgrade to the X next year once the bugs are fixed and I've had enough time to say goodbye to Touch ID. Now...to shut my brain off so I can sleep! Ugh

If reports of the slow pace of production are true, then yes that's very likely.

I got in a later order for my 6s+ two years ago and I did get it earlier than the date they quoted me, so you never know.

I simply hate waiting around all day for UPS. I'm in the first group for pickup so all good.

Ordered iPhone 8 / Silver / 256gb for TMO and delivery date is Oct 13 - Oct 20 for me
