I wanted to check my upgrade eligibility on the Apple store app it shows I’m upgrade eligible and says getting ready i’m going to the 12 promax should I disregard the message till the other preapproval process comes out later next month I don’t want to accidentally start.

Do you guys think gold will show scratches easily and it might get the scuffs? or the color may get faded?

I did it for the first time last year, and it was fun. and ordering SIM free from Apple has saved me tons of headaches, too. Switched to two carriers this year and no issues with either since it is unlocked.

Well my plan is to get iPhone Pro 6.1 (blue or gold) this will be my back up phone.

Will also order the iPhone Pro Max 6.7 model in color blue. This one will be my daily driver.m

An Apple tech told me that like the alum gold/navy watch - the colors are not painted , but embedded, so fine scratches will not show...🙃

Gold watches tend to do show micro scratches with different lighting though

I always just buy sim free from apple.com and swap the sim. this time I just want to triple confirm my existing sim from my 11 pro max will work in the 12 pro.
