I ordered my first Apple silicon case about an hour ago to match my Pacific Blue.

The citrus looks good. I have that color for one of my watch bands.

This is my first pre-order directly with Apple. It's normal to have "Preparing to ship" as soon as today? The same day of the pre-order or not? Is this normal or not? What happen next? I usually pre-order with AT&T and they don't ship until Wed/Thursday...

It's normal. This same thing happened when I pre-ordered the 12 Pro as well. But it will change to "Ship" sometime later in the week. Now you get to have fun tracking your package on UPS.com tracking by reference. Unless you have UPS My Choice, it will automatically pop up there.

What time did you pre-order? I ordered the same exact model as yours, Sim-Free Pacific Blue 512 GB, I placed an order 7:04 AM Central (based on what my e-mail said because I got the e-mail right after I checked out). And mine is preparing to ship.

I’ll ultimately keep 5-6 in the end. I think I went overboard with the long wait for the Pro Max. Then I’ll start buying more later... I am looking for a nice leather case... sigh.

Yes, I believe so. As long as your phone number you have matches, it should just pop up.

i did a poll a couple days ago about who goes naked and who doesn't and almost just as much people did or are going to go naked compared to with a case....

I don’t have any form of insurance/AppleCare so mine has to live in a Defender Pro case with a screen protector.
