As far as I aware, a signature is required for delivery, unless UPS or FedEx has changed policy.

Yeah, they were working on the neighbor's service, messed with some box and everything went down in my house. I'm on hotspot now. They "can't send a tech until tomorrow morning. I was like, what about the moron who knocked out our service??!!? But anyway...
That PB/Pink Citrus combo should look fun! I want to order the Plum case, but I just don't like that way the silicon cases attract dust. Kumquat is cute and may not be so bad. I like the Otterbox Figura Plum case too... I need to stop with cases. 6 cases came today, 15 sitting here altogether, but 5 are going back for sure. 4 more coming tomorrow. It's hard to tell with some cases until they arrive.

My black 12 mini is PFS! (USA) I’ve got a Nomad case coming Monday, the Apple Event Tuesday, and a Apple black leather case Wednesday; next week is going to be fun.
If I had chosen store when I made the order at 8:05am, I may have gotten that early a pick up as well. I may try that next time.
Now we get to hurry up and wait as our phones get sent from China. It would be nice if Apple had already shipped them to the U.S. like they have a few times in the past with certain models.

When I’ve done in store pickup, Apple takes my old phone right then and closes out the loan. I was at the Apple store today, and the rep told me they’ll do the same thing next Friday.
I'm happy with my gold 12 Pro, but I miss the pre-order excitement here. I did pick up a Baltic Blue leather case today for my phone and it is gorgeous. Beautiful color and it looks good with a little of the gold showing around the edges. It will go with the Baltic Blue leather loop band on my watch.
Anyone in AUS/NZ with a pending mini or Max order that hasn't progressed? I ordered through the Apple Store app right when preorders started. I placed two separate orders, one for an iPhone and one for a case. The case order is preparing to ship, but the iPhone order is still in the "Order Placed" phase, not even processing. It's been several hours. When I first tried to place that order I got the "payment interrupted" error others mentioned here, but it subsequently went through on the second try.
Yay, updated to preparing to ship! I have never preordered an iPhone from apple directly before and I have to say this was sooo easy compared to what I was expecting.
I ordered the 128 ProMax Gold and with the California Poppy leather case. That 📱 going to stick out sore thumb!
I now have 2 with the Apple silicon as the latest. I’ve definitely toned down on buying so many cases. They should credit your account for what happened since it is an I convenience to you.
