Well, I dropped off my 12 Pro with fedex. I’m so glad I went with the 12 Pro Max!

Same here. Dropped it off about an hour ago. It took me all of 10 secs to love the Max

UPS has lost my phone! Was getting it on launch day for the first time in years and no one can seem to figure out what happened to it.

That’s terrific LTE speed. I’ve never gotten faster than 165mbs, and that’s only with this new 12PM. I typically got 20-30mbs on the 11PM. This Qualcomm modem is so much better.

I was pretty surprised as well. I still think that 5G needs to mature and that Apple needs to send out an update for better battery management. I was fine with my speeds before 5G, so it’s not like I’ll be missing anything quite yet.

Bummer on the HomePod mini front:

I recently got an iPad Air and one of my friends sent me an Apple Pencil to start drawing. I thought it was the HomePod since I hadn't ordered anything else from apple, and got excited. Anyway, here's the piece of art I drew with the pencil:

MacOS already connects with iOS in regards to an AirDrop like connection. In fact those of us that still want our backups done locally do our syncs wirelessly, so long as they’re nearby.

Do u have 5G sim?

After a half hour on the phone with Verizon apparently not. They shipped it with an LTE SIM. 🤦🏼‍♀️

What’s your carrier? You need a specific plan to get 5G access. Call your carrier

yeah, mine is at some sorting facility like 2 miles away, stuck on "destination scan" since 5:11 this morning. estimate says Monday, but I was holding out a little hope for today, but I think it is time to give up.

I've had Verizon for years. I didn't have to switch to a 5G plan. My phone showed 5G without doing anything but turning it on.

Does anyone know what time Apple Stores refresh their stock for in store pickup? When the X came out I snatched one for same day pickup by checking at 6am but I’m not sure if that method still works. Has anyone been able to order a 12 pro for same day in store pickup?

i actually have those two spigen & i like the soft silicon. it fits & it shows the color of your iphone at the back. i also bought the anti spy privacy tempered glass so no one will be looking at my phone

Side note: I'm going to stick to using the MagSafe charger as much as I can. I gave my phone the slightest hair thin speck of a scratch from "plugging" in the USB-C port in the dark.

The USB-C end of the cable isn't the end that plugs into the phone, the lightning end goes into the phone...do you mean you tried to plug in the wrong end of the cable?
