Finally got HP Mini movement. “preparing to ship” Anyone have theirs shipped yet?

yeah, my 12 Pro Max is at some sorting facility like 2 miles away, stuck on "destination scan" since 5:11 this morning. estimate says Monday, but I was holding out a little hope for today, but I think it is time to give up.

I really thought I was going to miss the jailbreak from my XS Max, but 24 hours with my Pro Max and I love this phone. I still haven’t tested the camera out yet.

i actually have those two spigen & i like the soft silicon. it fits & it shows the color of your iphone at the back. i also bought the anti spy privacy tempered glass so no one will be looking at my phone

I like the soft silicon cases because it’ll show the color off more.

I haven’t tested mine, either. Nothing here worth taking a picture of lol. Don’t really go anywhere these days besides the grocery store because of COVID. Although I guess I could take pictures of the high prices and empty shelves. 🤑

Yeah man, I'm still struggling with the battery life of the 12Pro.... I just expected more. My X is still at 96% capacity and I almost feel like they're about the same in battery life.

PRO TIP: I find that if you keep your screen brightness at the LOWEST setting when you're not using the phone AND you try your hardest NOT TO USE the phone AT ALL that the BATTERY LIFE IS GREAT!!!

Side note: I'm going to stick to using the MagSafe charger as much as I can. I gave my phone the slightest hair thin speck of a scratch from "plugging" in the USB-C port in the dark.

They have not fixed the battery life bug in 14.2. So it should get better as soon as that fix comes. We just got 14.3 to test so I am not sure if they have a fix for that in there or not.

Coming from the XSMax, the camera difference is ‘night & day’ (pun intended). 😁

Good point. I didn't really think about that. I live in a city where driving is pretty prohibitive, and am usually taking Lyft or the bus. Not sure how I overlooked that though!

When we go portless Apple will have a wireless CarPlay adapter. And theirs will work.

How did you find this out? When you called? How do Verizon users know if they have the right SIM or not?

In other news Apple surprised me this morning by shipping my M1 Mac Mini. It’s in Hong Kong now, and will be delivered on Tuesday- a week before it was promised. 😊

I just popped my Verizon sim in my sim free pro Max, and of course I got the text that I needed to update my SIM card, which I’ll stop by Verizon today to do

I put our existing AT&T Sim Cards into my new 12 Pro Max and into my Daughter’s “new” (from me) XS Max with no issues. Thank goodness!

The USB-C end of the cable isn't the end that plugs into the phone, the lightning end goes into the phone...do you mean you tried to plug in the wrong end of the cable?

First day of typical use throughout the day on my 12PM. 10 hours so far. Battery at 77%. Time will tell how it compares to my 11PM. I get up at 6am, and at 10pm my 11PM usually had 20% battery remaining. On a heavier usage day I’d sometimes hit the low battery warning.

I love your combo and I’m not even a fan of popsockets. My 8yo swear by them.

My daughter convinced me to try PopSockets. I love them on big iphones. Used them on my XS Max and now on the Pro Max. Makes the big phone so much easier to handle plus I like how you can prop it up in landscape mode to watch a video
