Apple.COM iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

It was processing until this morning, and it just changed to preparing for shipment this morning. No tracking on UPS or FedEx. There was an authorization on my credit card but it dropped off. I’m super bummed!

I called Apple yesterday and the extremely nice lady said they are “trying to do too many things” and that she really hopes I get my phone on Friday, and she added a free case to my order.

Of course, the case has already shipped. Priority Overnight. Will be here tomorrow.

I am in a similar boat and feel your pain. My Iphone was in process until this morning at 3am and went to preparing to ship. None of the Fedex/UPS tricks work and I can't find any tracking. I called Apple yesterday and they gave me an Iphone dock for my concerns and some double billing they did for Apple Care. And now suddenly my money is released, I have no tracking and aleady have tracking information for an Iphone Dock. (sigh). :confused:

Update- Now my money is back in my account. No hold, nothing at all good.

Frustrating. I wish it would just say...you're not getting this for three weeks. Then I could stop maniacally refreshing the pages (gmail, apple.com, fedex.com, and ups.com) and get back to work! :(
 
Mine has left Kentucky and I assume is enroute to the nearest processing center around my house to ship out first thing in the morning to my house!

Congrats. I also got tracking for mine at a little after 5. But it has been in Tennessee and that is the origination point. On its way due by 11am according to FedEx. Woot Woot!
 
Arrival Scan in Los Angeles at 5:13pm PST, wish I could just go pick it up now..
 
I'm going to have donuts and coffee waiting for my UPS guy tomorrow. The faster they arrive, the more they get.

Mine was delivered about 10am this mOrning. UPS man totally overlooked the the pre-signed deliver paper I had on the door. Just glad someone was home to sign for it so it wouldn't sit outside the rest of day until I get home from work.
