Its a total mess this year, i cannot remember this out of control system:
Here is my scenario::
1) Ordered 3 iphones all 64gb 2 Rose-Gold 1 Gold, all were ordered on Sept 12 @ 3:30am EST
2) For the past 4 days I've had 3 Temporary holds which added up to my 3 phones, that was all normal.
3) This morning i checked and only 1 phone was officially charged, no confirmation tracking has been recevied AND the other 2 temporary holds dropped completly off? Wtf ??
Anyone else experienced any similarities?

If your order says delivers 9/25 they will deliver 9/25. Don't sweat it.
My Space Grey 128 GB Plus has be resting in Philly for the past 24 hours I assume it will start heading to long island today ...Anyone else keeping mine company?
Hah, yeah, well we all thought it was on that Atlas Air flight, but then we all got arrival scans in Alaska a few hours after it took off. Except they were at 8:35PM Alaska time... and it was only a little after 7 in AK at the time. So not only did it somehow fly to AK in record speed... the phones teleported into the future. Now I feel pretty confident they were on Atlas Air 823 all along. The scanning was just all wonky.
Mine is on the same flight. iPhone 6s Plus 128gb Gold T-Mobile for NYC.
Ok so I finally found my tracking info I looked at my order page again and it turns out that AT&T has my contact number for my billing and shipping address in wrong. I typed in the wrong number with my zip to UPS and finally found it. It just made it to KY about 7 hours ago.
The order processed isn't the time you made the order since the Apple Store opened. I ordered around 7 minutes past the store open too. My "Order Processed" in my UPS status says 8AM and for some others the "Order Processed" is earlier. I think the earlier batch has flown out.
Spoke with an Apple agent just now. Wanted to confirm that pre-sign forms will be usable on launch day. Someone on here had said that you couldn't use them, but that is not correct. Pre-sign forms CAN be used on Friday if you are not available to sign in person.
I answered you on page 138 or 139. Don't sweat it. Your bank just let go of the holds. Apple will charge you for the other phones when they get to it. I lost my hold on Monday and they just charged me this morning.
If I was an executive looking for managers I would check the macrumers forum to see how bad people wig out about their iPhone preorder before hiring. It would be a great indicator of how they hold up under stress and high pressure deadlines. I think juxtaposing the two would be a great dissertation or scientific study.
Finally moved on from ZhengZhou. To those that are worried...if you have a 9/25 delivery date, you'll get it then, unless you're in a Pope area, which could see a delay.
Last year, I remember my phone was in Alaska until Thursday night at like 7PM Eastern...then flew to KY, then to Columbus and was at the hub when I stopped by at opening to pick it up.

I look here just to laugh at the worry people go through as delivery nears after launch. It's not just this year, it is after every single launch.
It's amazing how crazy people get guessing and speculating about the mysterious meaning of little things they can find when poking around a system for hints of status that are not supposed to be about order status.

Damn!!! Ordered probably 3:05am EST via iPhone app as soon as the store came online. Charged on 9/21 and I'm still preparing for shipment!!!!

Take a deep breath and chill. Apple is an expert in logistics; they ship millions of products every year. Unless UPS/FedEx screw you somehow, you're 99% likely to receive your phone on the stated delivery day. They ship via overnight shipping for a reason.
Same for me from Germany. It was fun to track all order progress until Monday, when they charged me and my serial no was entered in profile. Since then it's just boring waiting
