My wife's 6S is chilling in Philly too and has been since arrival yesterday at 1644. My Plus is in Louisville since 0047 this morning after having spent some time in Alaska and Taiwan. Both are heading to Long Island for the 25th.
Mine is still PFS - plus the Pope is rolling into town although I doubt he's making it down to the lower east side.
Apple says 9/25, so I'll keep my eyes open Friday. 6s+ Silver, 128GB. My 5s is just about toast by now...

Well, not in my case. One of my reference numbers is the order number minus the last two digits. Best bet is to sign on to "My UPS" on the UPS.com site and when you sign in you should see something showing for Friday on the calendar. When you click on it you get the tracking info then scroll down and you see additional information including all the reference numbers.
Same for me from Germany. It was fun to track all order progress until Monday, when they charged me and my serial no was entered in profile. Since then it's just boring waiting

Not worry; just pure joy of being excited about the phone that's going to be in your hands on Friday. I am guessing many of those that ordered have skipped the iPhone 6 altogether and are on prior generations and have likely already waited for a year to get this.
Many of us that have tracking numbers are all preparing for shipment. I believe the theory for others that ordered earlier that haven't seen any tracking number or support profile is that the phone's already close to you in a warehouse and would get scanned close to 09/25.
I wonder how long it will sit in Louisville before it heads to Charlotte, NC.

I think you're right. I checked earlier this morning through the Apple website and it still had PFS with a Delivery on 9/25. I'm certain I'll get mine Friday. I just wanted to do an $8 2-hour window delivery, but can't without a tracking number.
Probably close to a day. I'm only speculating but maybe the only places UPS can delay until launch day is by letting it sit a prescribed length of time before releasing it from a warehouse or main hub. Once it leaves there it should be normal UPS processing.

I got my tracking details late last night and it's been like this since then. I just find it weird (and disappointing) that I'm not seeing the live movement from Asia that everyone else is seeing. UPS' description for the status is "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status will be updated." I guess it already being in the US is a good thing but I just wish I could get in on the fun of watching the plane fly across the ocean and slowly making its way to my house :/

I had the same reaction last year when mine originated in TN (which was the first time I'd ever seen that). Was so jealous of everyone who got to track and have fun!
No, it seems exclusive for US customers. So far most (everybody?) in Europe couldn't find theirs in UPS.
Or if the teleportation claims are right, it may already be on a flight out to the US. Just the reported scan time was delayed.

Yes, they move by truck to the Kentucky hub. Exact same procedure as the Apple Watch.

Didn't you post a pic of the dock for the rose gold phone? With Apple's attention to detail it should match perfectly.
A lot of the early reviews same the color is very prone to changing under different lighting- sometimes having more copper tones.

Nope. Apple even overnights some shipments. Also, when shipments are consolidated into one pallet they move under a master tracking number many times. The tracking number is for the whole pallet. You won't get an update until you package is broken out from the pallet and moving on its own individual tracking number. It might be in the states already.

Anyone had luck with UPS holding the package at a CC for pickup on Friday? I want to request it, and it says "Package Available: Friday 09/25/15" but I do not want them to come back and give me a pickup date later than Friday when the accept it.
My friend preorder from T-Mobile on the 14th and he just got the tracking number it delivers this Friday.... He ordered 64 6s Plus Rose gold ✌
