Remember, the drivers are done with their day once the last package is delivered. Thye want to deliver as fast as possible lol.

My Apple watch was delayed delivery day and delivered a couple of hours later than normal. My UPS driver apologized, he got into a wreck when a car tboned him. I was like, why are you apologizing, are you okay?

UGH im just sitting here waiting for my UPS guy to come. Have no idea when he will get here, because I moved to a new house and area. Guess I will be at home all day. Good thing I took the day off work! :p
 
WTF! My wife's phone is supposed to be delivered today and a few minutes ago UPS updated it to be delivered on Monday 9/28 instead. very mad now.

I'm super frustrated! Been tracking my package for a while and requested a hold at my local hub a couple of days ago. Today I got the message that my phone and my wife's phone are on the vehicle for delivery. Neither of us are home!

Any idea if we can pick up at the hub this evening or is getting it today a lost cause? Anyone else requested a hold that didn't go through?

I chatted with UPS, and they claim mine is being "delivered" to a customer center less than half a mile away from the sorting hub... Maybe I picked the wrong thing in MyChoice.

Oh, I know. I know they bust their asses on this day (well, every day!) I had a new driver last year; I think he started shortly before launch day. The previous driver had been on the route since I moved here in 2010 and always knew that on launch day I'd meet him at the curb because I was too excited to wait for him to walk the extra 20 feet to the front door. Lol. The new guy might still have been getting into the swing of things.

I almost made a "cardinal" mistake when the UPS driver delivered my Apple Watch. I thought I heard a UPS truck so I went outside and didn't see it. So I started walking to the street corner and then heard him come up behind me. He didn't like that I was away from the house and made me go in and show him proper id. In retrospect, he did the right thing. This time I'll wait for him to come to me!
