WTF! My wife's phone is supposed to be delivered today and a few minutes ago UPS updated it to be delivered on Monday 9/28 instead. very mad now.

Wow! Simply wow! Bad experience first time calling Apple customer service.

Called and asked the reason and the person simply said that there are so many preorders and there is nothing he or she can do. I asked if He or she or Apple could call UPS and asked for delivery today but the answer again was there is nothing he or she can do. Didn't even ask for my order number. I guess there is nothing I can do.

On the other hand, can I ask UPS to hold at location and pick up today even when it says delivery on Monday? It just got destination scan at the local hub an hour ago.

got mine. Silver 128 GB 6s+. Picked up from UPS CC. Not much lines this year in Apple store due to the reservation system. Still most of the few in lines were Chinese. And ATT had a 4-5 folks at 7:45

I ordered the unlock Tmobile, do I need to just change sim cards or can I use the pre installed apple simcard?

Got sent to wrong city after departure scan for home town. Anyone know timeline usually if the package is re-routed incorrectly?

Out for delivery to the ups store a mile away at 6:11am!

This is why I kept telling people not all ups stores immediately cause a delay and to check before picking.

Yes it's about a mile away from my house

Problem is I work about 20-30 minutes away and probably can't get away until lunch unless they text me within the next hour or so and I'll go in late.

Does the ups tracking page shows on vehicle for delivery? Mine date showing just like yours but it also says on vehicle for delivery. My original delivery date was 9/25. So don't give up yet if it says 9/28 if you the package is on truck it might deliver today. Just a error on ups tracking.

There's no Apple SIM card, it comes with a T-Mobile SIM card.

My phone still shows a departure scan from three hours ago, but the cc is only about 1hr away from where it departed. I wonder if I should bother showing up at 8a if it somehow hasn't gotten an arrival scan?

Oh, I know. I know they bust their asses on this day (well, every day!) I had a new driver last year; I think he started shortly before launch day. The previous driver had been on the route since I moved here in 2010 and always knew that on launch day I'd meet him at the curb because I was too excited to wait for him to walk the extra 20 feet to the front door. Lol. The new guy might still have been getting into the swing of things.

Nope, just destination scan at 5:40am. Not even showing out for delivery or on truck, etc.
